I see. That means I'm doing a hybrid keto/psmf. Interesting.
Wow, so are you losing on cutting on those numbers? Man, I wish I can eat that much. Then again, eating low carb and meeting those numbers would be tough for me. I can't eat that much. Unless it's cake. That I can eat!Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;

Yea, losing slowly. About 1lb a week. Wouldn't even try to eat that much on low carb haha! I'm sure that's why I lost my first 30lbs so easily because super easy to eat low cal when you take carbs out (was doing paleo). Workouts sucked though lol.
If I wasn't able to eat rice, bagels, granola, and pasta, dunno how I would meet calories.

30lbs.
I was about 180lbs this time last yr I think.
somewhere between end of summer & now I just blowed the fuq up.
The last month i've been on the Brad Kemp meal plan while I lifted.
cut one day, bulk the next, fast, binge....
Now that we have set our vacation week at end of July it's on.
plus, my brother & dad are calling me fatty every time they see me.

haha.
When i'm actually cutting i'm the exact opposite.
I secretly fast in private then eat 8 oz of baked chicken breasts & 2 cups of steamed veggies with a cheese sauce at work for lunch.
It's two plates worth of food but only 500 cals.
Or, i'd fast all day at work then meet my friends for a burger & a few beers for an outdoor concert in the summer & still be under my cals enough to have a bowl of cereal before bed.
when i'm not cutting or even trying I admit freely that i'm stuffing mt pie-hole non-stop.
anyways,
This week I have turned down free candy bars & two different birthday cakes.
sadly, it's only fricken tuesday.

Girl, I am with you on that one...I hate it with a passion. The only way I'll voluntarily run is if someone is chasing me lol. I much prefer kettlebell swings. One armed swings for 20 minutes in intervals (15 sec work, 15 sec rest) is equivalent to running a 6 minute mile. 1-2 times a week and you're good. For LISS, stationary bike all day
Don't be jealous, come join the carb crew! We're a little heavier over here, but there is just something about stuffing your face with rice and legit knowing it's "4 da gainz". haha
I am now convinced more than ever that we are a lot alike lol!
This statement elicited an image of you in safari gear with giant binoculars, on the prowl for a MAN sighting hahaha

They might be running really really fast ?
According to calculators (on the web and on the bike itself) I burn around 1000kcal with 1 hr on the stationary bike when adding in average heart rate,distance,speed,resistance etc.
Kinda dubious to it, seems pretty high even if it is at near max resistance.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Realized I haven't posted food pics in a while...my favorite breakfast atm:
Cutting ain't so bad when there is bacon and bagels
12g fat, 21g protein, 49g carbs, 440 calories
Have been trying to get in 20-30g of protein a meal (4-5 meals a day) so I can maximize dat dere protein synthesis. Honestly, I feel so much better than when I was doing IF.
Also making a batch of black beans to mix with rice and veggies:

Wow, I am the same way. Were you nervous when you first came over to my house? I know that you know I was bahaha. So funny how I am not scared to step into a ring, but nervous when meeting someone for the first time.
I'm excited to get out with you and traverse some peaks, I know we are going to have a blast

Hue, my ****meter said i burned 300 cals yesterday walking around in a small circle in the office and house...
@mlj thx for the reminder on the swings. I need to do the kettlebell swing/push ups ladder again. But I like intervals and liss on the airdyne bike, er well liss anyway. Ive been procrastinating doing a tabata. Time to pay the dues on that.
Nah muzzie im good for 32-48 oz coffee over course of day if I drink it.
@nitro lmao. I fast/eat light most of the day so I can pretend to have tdee of a person with a pulse In public too. even as a fattie I prefered public displays of mealtime voracity.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Earnest Scared Stupid was my last Date movie.
I usually just toss the whole contents of the can into the pot & heat up.
Or toss them in the crock pot with whatever & heat up.
Their black beans.
Not a whole lot of ways to prepare them.
I do love them though.
Especially with chicken.
Even more-so with chicken wrapped in a shell.

What is Vikingdom and Why Should I Watch It?
--Another Netflix movie review--
A movie with Vikings in it can't be all bad! - CSB, 2014
I take that back! - CSB, 2015
What is Vikingdom?
Vikingdom is a motion picture currently available for viewing on Netflix and it has some (what are supposed to be, at least) Vikings in it. It is not a Viking movie, per say. The rampaging Vikings all look pretty lame and jump around like super-ninjas, and the one that aren't obvious CGI are dressed in outfits from the strip-mall costume shop.
The plot centers around a group of heroes trying to prevent the Norse god Thor from destroying the mortal realm. See, Thor is really butt-hurt that Christianity has leached off almost all of his worshippers, and this Thor isn't all goody-goody like the Marvel Comic version of Thor. It should be noted that about half the time Bad Thor appears to be low-rent video-game cut-scene quality CGI, but other times he seems 100% live steron-enhanced actor. The live-actor's hair is dyed the same brilliant red that those trendy-alt college girls use so that they can appear "edgy", and it looks pretty ridiculous.
Our hero, portrayed by Dominic Purcell (the older fugitive brother from Prison Break) is apparently such a ***damn stallion that after he dies in battle the love-smitten Norse goddess Freya resurrects him. Then, sometime after his resurrection, Freya's brother Frey, the Creepy Elven God of ****philia, enlists Dominic to stop Bad Thor. Eventually accompanying our hero in this mission are two or three big burly guys, a druid who is a dead-ringer for Saruman The Wise, an obligatory Mystical Semi-Asian Martial Artist Guy, and an equally obligatory Hot Warrior Chick with a perpetually bare midriff. The Hot Warrior Chick is way hotter than the goddess Freya (who looks kind of like Tara Reed), which really doesn't make any sense. While I'd lap mead-shots from the navel of the Hot Warrior Chick, even she isn't close to hot enough to save this movie.
Why Should I Watch It?
You probably shouldn't watch all of Vikingdom, but you should at least watch it until the 11:30 min. mark, after you have seen Dominic Purcell's fight with a bear. That scene pretty much tells you all you need to know about this movie. Watch that scene twice, even. You will be mind-****ed by the seamless blending of stock footage, bad taxidermy, and horrendous CGI. I was, and still am.Way more Xtreme Fitbitter than MissLadyJ or kureransu

^ Lol!
Are you excited for the Super Bowl? I'm excited. It's going to be a great game! If not, the nachos and pizza will make it so.
I want to make this:
1. Open can;
2. Rinse beans if they're not Cubano style;
3. Add beans to whatever I have on hand. Tonight, I have kinda like spaghetti meat sauce that I'll turn into chili.
Tada!
Um, no. I had a nice conversation going with MLJ and her mom.Last edited by barbrox; 01-27-2015 at 06:01 PM.
