Here's the deal. I'm 19, my height is 6'1 and I weight 221. I recently became more serious about the gym but wonder what kind of program I should be following. I originally had a plan to drop down to at least 180 and work my way back up to 225 but just pure lean muscle mass. I recently had a body building friend tell me not to worry about dropping down. Being young I need some guidance and I'm wondering what I should work towards. Any questions, please let me know.

Honestly.. You need to lose about 40 pounds of fat and then start rebuilding yourself.
That said, you are not going to end up..
225 but just pure lean muscle mass
200# at 10-12% Bf .. that is possible in 2-3 years though.~ Like Tae-Kwon-Leap, my goals are not a path to a door, but a road leading forever towards the horizon.
