Poison going over-the-top with the SAN care boxes as always:
The bars. They're here. And they're now officially packaged.
They taste just as awesome as the prototypes, and now we have the official label info, too:
Highlights for me:
- 13g of deliciously good-for-you fat, primarily from almonds with some sesame and chia
- 15g of vegan protein from pea/pumpkin; I'm guessing this is an amino-complete combo with pea being lysine-abundant and pumpkin being lysine-deficient
- 8g of fiber, largely from IMO; not over-the-top, but still substantial, and offsetting the 18g sugar
I complained about the sugar before, but I'm far enough into my bulk now that I've stopped being quite so anal.
It doesn't look like our beloved 3rd-party retailers are carrying these yet, but I think they'll definitely end up being part of my rotation. Great snack for after a workout or a mid-day energy boost.

Yeah, the 'salt everywhere' thing gets a little irritating, but despite 'sea salt' being on the list, there's clearly not too much added here--and the natural potassium sources really balance out that electrolyte profile nicely.Originally Posted by MillerTime07
