LOL It certainly is a momentous day in Scotland tomorrow! The Nationalists and the Unionists will meet each other at the ballot box, rather than in some glen with broadswords brandished and all of the accompanying bloodshed. Ha! I don't know what I think about the whole thing. I can see both sides of the coin.

When we get further north I have to act as a translator for my wife...except for people from Glasgow....nobody can understand them. If you want/need a quick introduction to Scotland may I recommend this:

You Know what is more amazing than the outcome IMO, People in Scotland Care, 97% of Eligible Voters have registered for this, and The People of the United States should take notice, 97%, Here We will Cross an OCEAN to defend Freedom, but won`t cross the street to Vote for OUR freedoms !

Thought the same exact thing when I heard 97% voter turnout. In the 2012 elections I think it was 57%. We like to think we are the land of democracy, but it seems other countries appreciate their democracy more than we do.Originally Posted by thomashenry

Hubby's accent is mostly Glaswegian and pretty strong so sometimes I have to translate for him, which with my own French accent is just plain weird!
