Well I've lost 120lbs over the last 4 years, I'd like to think I'm not fat anymore. I'm speaking from experience, life is WAAAAYYY easier now than it was before. People I don't even know... They open doors for me, offer to let me cut in line, smile at me when I make accidental eye contact. It's honestly like living in a completely different universe... Losing weight made me realize a lot about society and human nature. You can tell fat chicks they are beautiful until the cows come home but you will still favor the aesthetic ones over them no matter what, subconsciously we all do, it's human nature

People told me my entire life that "beauty is on the inside" and "you're FINE the way you are! Don't change for anyone! You're gorgeous!".... Then when I dropped the weight those SAME PEOPLE said things like "you must be so much happier now! How did you do it?" And "good for you, you look amazing! What hard work!" And guys who had friendzoned me my whole life started to show sexual attraction/attention... I was like da fuq? They treated me the same as they did when I was big (my closest friends), but suddenly I was good enough to fuk. The only thing I miss about being fat is having male friends

Not sure if it's human nature, but I do agree with society has created beauty standards. I'd say though that these standards are based more on ego, than natural occurrence. Female Animals don't care if you're chubby or not, as long as you can protect them, males don't care if the females are fat either, so long as they please them the same.
