Via Rotoworld:
Instead of dying down, the firestorm has only intensified since the Vikings welcomed back their franchise back, with the NFL looking into the case and the governor of Minnesota calling for AD to be suspended. Although the Vikes are unlikely to release Peterson outright like the Ravens did with Ray Rice, they'll probably do the same math. That would be concluding that the controversy isn't worth it, and suspending AD until his legal situation is resolved. He's less than 50-50 to be active for Week 3.

So I know it goes against the grain but I'm considering using my number 1 waiver to pick up the Pats D. Is this a terrible idea?
It's an 8 man league (I know but I'd appreciate advice) so waiver RBs are very deep. Standard scoring. I'm currently 0 - 2 and got 0 points from STL D in week 1 and 4 points from Denver D in week 2, had narrow losses both times which is why i'm considering it. I feel it's certain someone will take the Pats D if I don't.
QB Brady
RB Lacy, Bell, Ellington, Gerhart
WR DT, Jordy, Patterson, Sanders
TE Rudolph, Cameron
K Crosby
D Denver
High rated waiver targets: Davis, Bradshaw, West, Rainey, Ivory, Ridley
Available D's: Ravens, Saints, Eagles, Colts, Dolphins, Bills
They're great targets, but I don't know if I'd start any of them off the bat? Seems ridiculous to grab a D over them but I need a win ASAP and am up against the top team this week. I think there's a good chance I could get one of those on the 2nd waiver round as everyone's teams are pretty stacked.
TLDR: Am I retarded for wanting to use number 1 waiver on Pats D?

Dammit, there are so many WW players I want in my main league but there just isn't enough room on my roster, even if I could afford them (FAAB).
****. These waiver claims are killing me. I just don't know.
I feel like I'm hoarding RB's that won't ever do anything for me. But they might.
CJ Anderson for example. He's chilling on my bench because I don't have a lot of faith or trust in Ball and if he fumbles too much or gets hurt or anything Anderson will be like Knile Davis. He could even work his way into significant work as the season goes on. But that's speculative and right now there's no way I use him.
Ben Tate sitting there injured and I'm wondering how much work he even has to come back to when he's healthy with West/Crowell but he could be back as the starter and is fine 'when healthy'. But he's hurt now gets hurt a lot and those other two are doing well enough.
Matt Asiata: WTF knows.
I also have Forsett, Reggie, and Sproles. As you can see I lack even a single RB1 so I kinda really want as much depth as I can get at least. (got Calvin Nelson Gronk as my first three picks though so **** yeah on that)
But there are like five WW players I really want.
**** this man.
I already pulled a full retard and didn't notice Ridley get dropped and didn't even put a bid in on him (might have bid enough to win if I was paying attention)
And Torrey ****ing Smith is sitting his ass on my bench too
/rant
**** it I'll go to bed with two piddly ass waiver claims in and see if anybody got overlooked and went to FA status in the morning and if so have no ****ing clue if I should drop somebody to pick them up or not

Should I drop deangelo williams for ahmad bradshaw?
I think that if bradshaw starts getting more touches he can end up being good granted he doesn't get injured. I'm fine at RB and deangelo doesn't really have much upside. My current RBs are Charles, Knile Davis, Morris, Miller, Hyde and Sankey."Audentes fortuna iuvat" - Virgil

Trying to decide between Russell Wilson and Foles this week. Wilson is going against Denver.. and while they destroyed them in the super bowl I don't think Peyton is gonna let that **** happen again.

Cut bait on Fred Jackson? I'm going to hold on Asiata as I'm sure to see when I wake up that AP is suspended again. I have the No. 9 priority, so I'm probably going to not use it and move up a few spots this week.
Options on the wire (dropping Fred Jackson):
Pierre Thomas
Khiry Robinson
Ahmad Bradshaw
Bernard Pierce
Lamar Miller
Donald Brown
Darren McFadden
Bobby Rainey
Is there anyone on the list you would NOT drop FJax for? I'll most likely grab whoever is left after waivers*Praying Zeke Goes for 40 Crew*

The Vikings announced Tuesday night that they're placing Adrian Peterson on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list, requiring the running back to stay away from the team.
There's no mandatory length of stay on the list, but the Vikings indicated that Peterson would remain there "until the legal proceedings are resolved." Clearly, that suggests it'll be more than a one- or two-week matter. Instead, it now seems Matt Asiata could be the Vikings' starting running back for the long haul.

Soooo does that mean I keep New Orlean's swiss cheese defense against Minny or what. Those *******s almost cost me my matchup last week. I have a claim on Cleveland vs BAL right now.
