I realize that you want the smallest fenders possible, but it may be a good idea to call the dude and go look at the work in person. Custom bike and rod builders are artists man, they can see the whole finished product in thier mind, and it may look alot better the way it is. It could be like sticking a frowny face on the Mona Lisa (ok maybe not that extreme). If you can still only see yourself with the bike having small fenders then move forward with it.

As a business owner, if one of my employees did this... Yes I'd give a ****. I'd flip ****ing ****. Say whatever you want in person to other associates... But don't do it over a form of saved communication. For **** like this. Do you know what kind of media outrage would come from this? Or how a person could take an email like that and send it out to every competitor and completely **** over your business? I'd do everything I could to right this situation.
