I've been lifting for about 20 years now and have seen something lately I've never seen before from two different guys.
They walk up and rub their bicep on the bench press bar. I don't know how else to describe it. They bend over and rub the inside of their bicep on the actual outside of the bar.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why. Any ideas?

Guy was rubbing his biceps on the bar at the gym. Why was he doing this?

I am imagining it would work something like foam rolling but with the bar? That's my best guess.

He's clearly trying to remedy a bicep issue with could very well be a shoulder/peck issue. Hell, likely a scapular/traps issue.
How did not even the smallest bit of this cross anyone ones mind above? ^

I think everyone who has spent more than 6 months in a gym could write a book on all the dumb **** they see other people do.
My guess would be like the others, it's like a foam rolling thing, only pointless and stupid.
I find it funny that you have been lifting for 20 years and this is the **** that blows your mind LOL.
