    Looking for articles on muscle loss with cutting

    It seems that a 500 calorie deficit is the "gold standard' for cutting while keeping as much muscle as possible, as well as the often stated protein requirements.

    While I've seen articles on the protein side, I haven't seen any really on the calorie side. If anyone has any links to cutting where they were getting adequate protein and the variable was the deficit, I'd appreciate it.
