Would this piss you off? 11PM and went to 24 hr fitness. 5 of the 6 bench presses didn't have the bars on them.. I'm thinkin to myself WTF? I look around and see a group of 5 individuals doing a crossfit workout together in the empty area of the gym, doing clean and presses with push-ups inbetween sets... Initially I'm pissed off and sit there and wait. I eventually grab a bar off the squat rack and start my bench routine, and my workout was ruined because i was so pissed. I completed my hour workout and they're all 5 still doing clean and presses... What would you say to these people? Is this messed up to do? Not proper gym etiquette ?

As a gym manager, I would let them....Ive never seen a rule in any gym saying bars cant be moved around....as long as they put them back. it would be equivalent to 5 random people doing bench at the same time.
im sorry that happened man. i know how it can ruin a workout.

Op, I think you're over reacting. Their workout is just as important to them as yours is to you. You found a bar in the squat rack, so problem solved and just move on.
Yes, I would initially be annoyed too, but you let that annoyance grow into something much bigger than was appropriate for the situation, and as a result you ruined your own workout. I think you should have refocused your mind instead on crushing your sets.
