Speaking as a Muslim here and I'll speak for every Muslim that I know is against whats going on over in the east. We are just as much as affected as you guys and we're just as angry and would like nothing better but to drop a nuke on all extreme islamist groups because its a false view of outlook on the real religion of Islam.
Airport treatment I can understand why its like the way it is for every Muslim, I don't agree with it but I understand why it is. Every time I log on here and read any thread regarding the east a comment like "Religion of peace" and "Drop a nuke on ALL the east = the answer" is dropped.
It could be for ****s and giggles but a lot of what is posted on the misc regarding Islam is negative.
I'd like to know if your opinions on Muslims living in America/Canada/UK/Aus has been affected in anyway?
SRS topic, please respect it.

Nope, why would it, they are all still the same people they always were.
The US has illegally invaded more than 70 countries in the last 60 years. Do all those occupants of all of those countries "feel differently" about the US now? Think about it that way.
Anything these Muslims are now doing was caused by the US making them think the US is the great satan and so on.
You should be asking these Muslims why they are so angry as opposed to just calling them terrorists - WHY ARE THEY TERRORISTS? Why are they so angry, don't we need to know that? Just calling these people (that would otherwise be wanting to live in peace) terrorists all the time and never giving the back story on why is just pathetic, how is anyone even falling for this crap.
All the top Islamic leaders are just double agents working with the US anyways.u wot m1.68179283050742908606225095246644152⁴

Nope. I know several Muslims. Dated one girl for a while who is Muslim. No problems. Most gracious visit I've ever made to someone's house was to her house. Srs. Parents are Pakistani. Very welcoming, respectful, and friendly.
The school where I'm currently taking graduate classes is one of the most diverse in the country. Number 4 or something like that. The graduate classes don't even have 15 people per class, but there's students from India, Iraq, Japan, Russian, two from Columbia, and Venezuela. Tons of Arabs, Southern Asians, and Asians.

Muslims are everywhere and in every country...there are muslims in Africa too..I don't think they have anything to do with what's going on there. Just because Osama Bin Laden was muslim doesn't mean all muslims are terrorist....it's ignorant people who generalize make such remarks

Yes, they only get correlated with all the negativity, ISIL, marrying underage islamic girls, and so on.
It may be a part of their culture to marry and fk underage girls, but ofcourse in the western-world perspective
that **** is way out of hand.
What we consider normal is anything but normal over there, so it is hard to judge a culture when your own culture is
the complete polar opposite.

Anytime I have spoken to a Muslim they have treated me with more respect than most other people do, they offer you food and stuff, they care about their own families a lot more than white people do. White people have uncles they haven't spoken to for 15 years and stuff like that. Muslims... that would never happen. We are miles behind them in terms of being civilized, thats the reality, which explains why the US Government has to perpetually demonize them.
Can't have anyone feeling better, more happy, more close knit with their own family, kind... they might all want to do it.

Not at all.
My neighbor is Muslim and yes he stands out because he's stereotyped. He's 29 years old, married with two kids. The guy is hilarious. A bunch of my firends were getting drunk one night and he comes out of his house with large mortar fireworks. As he's running towards my house he says "C'mon guys lets go blow some $hit up" In the arab accent. We were dead from laughter for literally 20 minutes and then we blew $hit upChicago Crew

Islam is religion that hasn't evolved since its beginning, back than it was normal for underage to get married. This was to keep them astray from the path of evil. Marriage in the world = ****ing and ****ing and more ****ing which on all sense is true in some way but in the religion aspect of views. Its harder for me to explain so I'll leave this open for a miscer that can explain this better

No problem as long as they are westernized/civilized.
Its more the radical ones who are wanting to marry off their 12 year old daughter, stone a female to death for some minor offense, or blow sh!t up for some religious ideology is what I have a problem with.
For the most part most of the one's in America are trying to westernize/want a better life for their families and want to get away from all the barbaric BS. 90% of the one's I've had dealings with have been standup guys.

My opinions haven't changed. Islam is Muhammeds teaching that being a bandit and murdering is totally fine. As long as you are doing it for Allah. Since there is a holy war going on, at anytime that the Muslims determine. This is what he taught in his life, this is the life he lead. Quran reinforces this fact, and so does history. Things you can't argue with.
In fact. You saying "We are just as much as affected as you guys and we're just as angry" makes me more upset. Because you are not a Muslim at this point. You are either an apostate or a liar, trying to appease to the US masses. Since Islam even teaches that you can lie about anything to make friends with the "enemy", to gain their trust. Then destroy their free society from within with Sharai law.
You might as well become a Christian and treat your brother as you would yourself. But you will not."Don't be envious when the grass is greener on the other side because you don't know how much crap it took to fertilize that ground.
Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).

that guy would become my best friend instantly... i love people who can turn a stereotype into a joke like that
know quite a few muslims from the gym most of them are all very humble and really nice... one joined the military right after 9/11 happened ... only bad thing about him is that he was too much of a drama queen so i distanced myself from him."it's alright man, you can laugh. Thats not true.......... Muhammad where he once lived had a neighbor. He was a jew. He was civil with the Christians that refused to convert. He had a message as well but.
Islam does not equal to Muhammad's teachings. It involves Moses, Jesus and many others, we just believe their prophets instead. So you see how wrong Islam is being portrayed by the extreme groups. I'm just as much affected as you.
