Just posted in the S&T section about this. It's really cool. and thats coming from a serious iphone fan. but its still not cool enough for me to switch again.
Literally, the only reason i switched to android before was screen size... it was a disaster. Between bloatware, slow downs, crashes, and horrific battery life, ill never buy another android again. And with the iphone 6 addressing the screen size problem, ill happily upgrade.

LOL @ thinking the iPhone is even slightly relevant anymore. They fell behind the game with the Galaxy s3
I got the s3 the day it came out, then skipped the s4 and got the note 3 the day it came out... Will use my Note 3 until the Note 5**Swipes right on tinder with my dick crew**

you sound awfully prissy ITT
That's not even needed anymore, and I would have to agree, the S3 was a laggy, bloated POS with terrible battery life. My Note 3 charges up to full instantly and has given me 0 problems since buying it in Feb. No slowdown, no nothing. Currently have an iPhone 4s as well.Last edited by Ace Thedics; 09-03-2014 at 10:17 AM.

im not denying that there arent viable options in the android phone market now. but that doesnt change the bad taste i have now for them.
I bought Ford and Dodge trucks in the past, had bad luck, and bought toyota. never had a problem. so why switch? im just buying what i know works for me.Redwings|Badgers|Packers

This phone is not in the iphone level tho. It's way way way better the iphone or any phone. The iphone would be against the S5. The note series is for people who basically want a full computer in a tiny package. It's like putting a Ferrari against a BMW. Both very nice, but the Ferrari is miles ahead

the iphone is not obsolete. if it was, it wouldnt sell as well as it does.
in no way am i trolling. im simply stating my personal experience.
i even complimented this new note, so where do you get "trolling" from? im not here to convince anyone which one is better, or they shouldnt buy one or the other.Redwings|Badgers|Packers

yes that's what I meant lol IDK why I said crack.
some of those probs still happen with the iphone though.
I just went on a 2 week vacation and used my mom's iphone 5 a lot.
Sure, it did crash much less often than my 4yo EVO 4G (lulz) and overall, the interface was smoother, but I still don't feel like I'm missing so much by having a 4yo phone.
I did notice the iphone 5 getting hotter than my EVO tho. Also, the battery wasn't that much better. We used it one day to take pictures and it was dead by 2pm.*Costco GOAT Crew*

although I bash iphone (only for good reasons tho) I do own an iPad for my son. He had an android tablet, but the educational games for kids are terrible on there and there are very few compared to iPad. That Android tablet was sold.
Androids are GOAT on phones especially if you're getting a top tier phone. You simply cannot go wrong with the S5 features or the new note 4.
Apple are GOAT on tablets due to their ipad app store being really good for all ages. (toddlers to adults)*** Free Thinker Crew ***

sure, some experience that on iphones. i personally havent. in fact, i've not even crashed once even with the latest jailbreak. so either im really lucky, or its actually pretty stable. pretty fortunate because in the past after JB it crashed quite a bit.
i can honestly say though, without bias, none of my iphones ever got warm, let alone hot when using them.
iOS7 on my iphone 5 seems to drain the battery quick. im generally around 15-27% by 5pm with heavy use. that sucks.Redwings|Badgers|Packers

I can certainly understand where people would like to stay with the iPhone over the variety that is available out there. The reasons IMO would be aesthetics of the iPhone, simplicity, and they are heavily invested in the App Store. But the reason shouldn't be that Android phones are inferior to the iPhone. That's just not the case any more.
Having said that, I like having both an Android and iPad. Best of both worlds.

honestly, the ONLY reason. ONLY reason..... is imessage. my entire family uses iphones so sending full res photos and vids of my daughter is easy. there isnt a solution other than upload and sending a link from an android decive that satisfies that. and when you have technologically illiterate family members who cant even click a link its annoying.
anyways, gym time. ill check back later.Redwings|Badgers|Packers
