Hi guys,
I lost 6 stone around two years and have been left with this. One of those pictures was 9 weeks ago and one was a few days back and apparently been told there is a difference I can't see it. I'm trying so hard to shift it and could do with some tips and help as it's really getting me depressed
Thanks
Lee

Looks like there's still some fat there to lose.
If it's only skin - it'd be very thin (pinch the back of your hand to get a feel for it).
Keep cutting, you'll get there.Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

Sorry to break it to you man, but theres still fat there. Loose skin feels something more like the skin on the back of your hand...it's okay, youve made huge strides thus far...keep pressing on for more fat loss, while retaining lean tissue, and you wont regret it. Also, as you lean out, continue to moisturize your skin and exfoliate daily. No creams or potions are going to work. Just use lotion daily. Nothing special. Again, awesome job!

It possibly looks like you have more fat than you actually do, because there may well be some loose skin as well, but you don't have to give up. Naturally loose skin can sort itself out within two years, depending on your age and the amount, but there are things you can do to speed up the process somewhat. Getting plenty of vitamins A and C in your diet, building muscle, using skin creams with vitamins A,C and E, exfoliating, etc. Keep in mind that all of your skin cells get replaced frequently, so getting the vitamins to promote elastin levels in the skin will speed up the process. there are a few vids on YouTube that you can search for with a few other tips.

Im 29 and I lost the vast majority of the weight (5st) around 2yrs ago and that's how it still looks now. Yeah I guess it's more skin mixed with some fat but I guess I will never know exactly. I've already spoke to a specialist in terms of a abdomnoplasty and that's around £5k (8.2k dollars) so certainly haven't got the funds to afford that but I will be honest I am loosing the battle emotionally. I eat chicken more than anything in terms of protein but I don't get a lot of vitamins I don't think. Im guessing I don't just search for excess skin videos?

Because skin that is void of fat sags and wrinkles, and it does not have volume. You carry a lot of fat around you mid-section. Just look at how much your stomach extends beyond your hips and legs, when the fat is gone it won't do that.
Without seeing the rest of you, your at least 20% bf , get down to 10% and then evaluate how things are looking. Just keep cutting and lift heavy.

There is not much you can do for loose/excess skin apart from ensuring adequate protein,fat and vitamin/mineral/water intake. It takes up to 1-2 years for it to recover as much as it will (which for some will be near full recovery for others nothing happens). But first of all you have to get lean, when the fat is pulling on the skin it won't recover much for most.
Loose skin is a real mental battle initially, especially during the first weight loss as you most likely won't have much muscle.
But with time, proper diet and lifting you can make some tremendous changes, but it takes time, don't expect any quick fix.
To put it in perspective, you are properly around where I was in this pic:
I still had like 25lbs to loose in that pic.
Then got here: On the left I was around 4lbs from my lowest weight, skinnyfat with loose skin and very little muscle. On the right was back in august nearly two year later after proper lifting and diet along with some bulk and cut cycles.

I actually saw that photo on the left on google which is why I was directed here. Can I ask on the before picture, your trousers are pulled up above your "overhang" aren't they? As mine isn't so you can see it all so yeah I think I'm about you. I shall take a photo when I get home of the rest of my top half and you guys can give me the truth lol as reDing some of this stuff is giving me a lot of hope tbh as I had really started to give up both physically and emotionally

Haha, the horrible looking Znik is easy to find on google ? Must be getting famous.
And yeah the overhang is covered in the before and in the current, my skin never recovered properly. Which is why I post the comparison, unless it's a severe amount of loose skin it won't cover definition,six pack, adonis belt etc. as long as you have muscle and low bodyfat.
If the skin doesn't recover after being lean for a long time, then the only current option is surgery, but I would always recommend spending 2-3 years building mass, getting lean etc. and then make the decision. Especially since tummy tuck does have a "higher" risk for complications for men, as we have a lot of blood supply to the area, there are at least 3 guys on the forum that nearly died during their tucks due to complications, thankfully it turned out alright for em but the risk is always there. And if you can look pretty damn decent without then that's worth a try first.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

I think it was more the thread title I found rather than the photo lol.
I know I'm bigger than you on my top half as I have slight moobs where as you don't lol. I don't normally pull up the trousers as just not a fan as the "size" of the stomach now isn't as massive as it used to be. Aside from cutting calories (on that note what you reckon number wise I should be eating as I think I eat about 2k a day I would say but can vary obviously) what would be the best gym work to do? Just lifting or cardio as well as I do a lot of cardio at the gym.

Read the quote from dmcdonal9 I posted further up it explains all you should be doing.
Calories vary for everyone, what you need to do is calculate your macro(protein,fat) needs, estimated maintenance and then adjust it according to weight loss rate over 3-4 weeks.
As for the gym, lifting should always come first. Proper resistance training is essential to retain your lean mass, especially since you don't have much of it and cant afford to lose more. My first cut results is what you get with poor diet and no lifting, not a good look.
Cardio is just a tool for increasing the calorie deficit, it should never be a deciding factor for it. The deficit should be set in your diet and cardio is just freely used for when you have the energy or just want to increase the deficit that day. Cardio is primarily for cardiovascular health and it's other benefits, not weight loss since that comes from adjusting your intake.
But again, go up and read the quote I posted it has all the important information you should know.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:
