    Best way to 3 plate bench / 4 squat / 5 DL

    Hi all,

I was wondering what is your opinion to reach those mentioned goals in the title?
    I mean something like:
Starting Strength until 185lbs Bench then Madcow until about 225lbs bench then 5/3/1 until 315 bench....

    Whats your opinion?

Currently i'm doing 5/3/1 BBB with max 225lbs bench / 325 Squat and 405 DL....

Goal is to gain strength & Mass.... can you help me out to reach my goals? Could train 3-5x a week.

    Thanks

SS took me to a 4 plate squat and almost 5 plate dead, unfortunately it left me somewhere between 2 and 3 plates on bench, so I gotta work on that. If you can't make it there on SS, following through to MC should definitely deliver you to at least 1-2 of those as long as you're not trying to stay low on BW. It's very simple, linear progression, just eat a ****ing lot, progress every session, and 3/4/5 should come. Obviously nutrition, rest/recovery/sleep, form, and mentality will play a decent role in combination with your training to get you there faster, anything you can optimise for better/faster results in these is worth it.

A 315 bench, 405 lb squat, and 495 lb deadlift should allow it, provided one is using 45 lb plates and a 45 lb standard bar.

    for me this worked:

bench: bench a lot and relatively heavy
squat: squat a lot but not always heavy

I don't consider myself to have "good genetics" and I hit those #'s on a heavy bro-split with nothing but food and sleep. I'm 100% sure that a proven program would be a better way, but hard work kinda trumps everything

SS could basically get you those numbers, if not it will be close. From there just do the Texas Method or any other intermediate strength routine. Thats what I did.
