Thats Incorrect, the correct answer is 967+1 and than one more, than you die!

All Combat Arms components of the perspective services, do so many pushups its crazy. Like Jason said you do as many as you can than do some more. Either way the funny part is, no matter how many you did, you're a phucking pussy still.

Very large numbers. I've done a Navy Seal workout just for the hell of it and got to the point where I was doing 20 sets of 25 with my rest being abs, pullups, and dips. I also did a different version and got up to 6 sets of 75 with the rest still being abs, pullups and dips. Moral of the story no matter how many you do they most likely do way more on top of the ridiculous amount of running and lack of sleep.

Who cares? Why is it relevant to you and your life?

Consensus is generally that it's extremely high volume calisthenics.

Goal seems to be infinite local muscular endurance all over the entire body, plus athleticism.

There's a looooong list of ways that could be accomplished without the need to know EXACTLY what they do, so let's think about it.

You could accomplish the local muscular endurance part just by doing a crapload of pushups, pull ups, sit ups, squats and lunges just with your body weight. You could even set it up as a circuit - do one set to failure and switch to the next exercise, repeat for some set number of rounds. Let's say 7 rounds of pushups, pull ups, sit ups, squats and lunges, all basically to failure or at least an extreme burn.

You could also throw in some deadlifts as those will help your lower back, which is otherwise entirely untouched by what I've described. You could try just setting it to bodyweight or 225, whichever is heavier, and doing high volume with that. How high you want to go is up to you.

That, or you could jump on the kettlebells+bodyweight bandwagon like everyone else in fitness who wants to play commando.

Additional training that would probably be extremely relevant:
    -parkour
    -more advanced calisthenics feats
-boxing, wrestling and other martial arts
    -climbing
    -rucking
    -swimming
-sprinting (you don't need jogging if you're doing 7xF for all of that bodyweight crap)
    -paintball, basketball and other sports

Remind me again... what was the point of emulating what you think some random military people do?

Used to workout in a gym that had several NSeals in it.

They like to do pullups, curls, run on the treadmill, and that's about it. Never saw them do a single leg day. Can't say I blame them, I suppose the mostly trained what was important for swimming.

My hubs works with the newer generation of Seals and shed some insight into the powerbuilding program for the, "repurposed," Seals, that is, CAG(Delta Force). It's very simple and I'll describe it in it's entirety.

6 lifts, squat, deadlift, bench press, press, power clean, weighted pullup.

Perform each lift in increments of 20kg plates(40kg) and 20kg bar(or 45lbs) for as many sets as necessary to reach 100 reps. Continue each workout with specific lift until one can reach 100 reps in 4 sets of 25 reps. Add a plate to each side, repeat.

Abs. Arms. Cardio. That is the entire workout circulating that branch of SOF right now.

I tried it for a month and gave up because 135lbs was too much for me as a beginner several months ago. I can barely bench 135 once. I had success with running it through on deadlifts and that was it. This is an advanced program for the intermediate lifter focused on progressive overload with mass as a side effect. The cardiovascular effort is brutal, and the burn is very real. Maybe one day this will get published in a book like all these other expired Navy Seal training programs, once it's set aside or one of the Seals leaves for PMC since PMC's pay 10x more than the government to do the same exact job.

Wait... so let me get this straight...

So I'd start out squatting 135 for 100 total reps until, after many workouts, I got 4x25.
Then, I'd add a plate to each side and repeat the "100 reps in as few sets as possible" workout with 225 until I got 4x25x225.
Then, I'd add a plate to each side and repeat this whole song and dance until I got 4x25@315.

    Did I get that right?

My hubs works with the newer generation of Seals and shed some insight into the powerbuilding program for the, "repurposed," Seals, that is, CAG(Delta Force).

They are different units from different branches of the mil. Do you mean he's working with both? Or is this some place that retired SOF (you use the term PMC...) like to train and this is a program some follow? It's not official training doctrine for both SEALS and CAG, that much I know...

Seal Team 6 AKA Seals that don't swim AKA doing CAG's job AKA abuse of power cuz Naval Admiral is in charge of budget.

This is exactly how the Seals pulled into Delta train. When it comes to SOF branches barely matter. Green hatters pull from every branch, but even when distinct still handle training with FR and cover medical for both FR and NS. This is even more true for CAG, who pull from every branch and even other GO's. Unfortunately trying to assign official titles to teams and terms that have been butchered by the media makes it very difficult to explain even to enlisted personnel now.

What the **** did you just ****ing say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the **** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my ****ing words. You think you can get away with saying that **** to me over the Internet? Think again, ****er. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re ****ing dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little ****. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ****ing tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will **** fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re ****ing dead, kiddo.
Look under your chair. YOU GET A REP, AND YOU GET A REP, REPS FOR EVERYONE! If I get a rep, you get a rep, every time. Give me a link to make my life a little easier.

If you don't give me a link and you didn't post in the thread you rep'd me in, I'm not gonna go searching for you. I'll get everyone on recharge.
