Can you bench 225?
Seriously, how many of you can Bench 225? thats a barbell with 2 big plates on each side. it's a heavy weight to the average person, I know a lot of miscers don't really lift much..

Most I ever got with 225 was 5 reps. I don't get how every second person on the Misc benches 315. Then again my starting bench was 66lbs..

See guys the thing is everybody says "OH yeah man back when I was going to the gym I could bench 300 lbs easy" It creates a distorted picture of how strong guys are on the bench..
"oh blah blah I can bench this and that".. but when push comes to shove, if you're not a reasonably serious lifter, you're probably not going to do 225lbs it for even 1 rep.

Have benched 350 with a pause (yes serious lol) I can't remember how many times I've done 225 but I don't think I've hit 20 yet

got to a point where it was fairly easy, but then stopped benching heavy for a while. now i can usually knock a set of 5 out with out too much difficulty
