    How much betaine?

    What is a good dose for betaine? You know the 5 grams a day or the 3.2 grams of betaine. I can't find much information on betaine outside of a few doctors but they're not in sports nutrition.

    2.5-5 grams is what I see most dose. I personally go with 3 grams.

    I am not aware of any study using 3.2 g. You may be confusing this dosage with beta alanine.

    No worries. Interestingly, one of the authors of the betaine study indicated doses beyond 2.5 grams are most likely beneficial (within reason), but they didn't evaluate that in their study.
