IMO the biggest upside of F5 is that it's fun, front squatting, fast progression and the active logging community do this.
The reason you don't see many allpro logs is because it's the same weight for 5 weeks, kind of boring. The upside to allpro is that the workouts are quick and you can get away with a smaller calorie surplus
The differences in how fast you'll reach your goals aren't that significantlog:

This is very true and something that is forgotten too often in my opinion. OP, I'd say that both are very good routines so it would be really up to you (especially with your stats) however...
I'd have to agree with that post. I find Fierce5 more interesting because of the variety of splits it offers and the different exercises. Within the acceptable substitutions, you can follow any sort of routine (either full body, U/L or L/P/P), do quite a lot of different exercises over some time and I personally prefer the sets and reps of it.First log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=163553231
