Nobody is saying to eat 2000 calories of chocolate, nobody here does, you are reading things too loosely. If someone is so stupid that they cant think for themselves, they deserve any adverse health effects. Time to exercise your brain.
Back to the misc with you. There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

What's with these goofy interpretations of people's advice? Who the hell here has ever said to eat 2000 kcals of chocolate chips on a diet?
Oh that's right, nobody.
Way to make an argument by stretching things to illogical and inconceivable extremes.
Advice has been given so that people aren't obsessing over stuff that in the scheme of things matter very little IRT fat loss. Like brown rice vs. white rice, sweet potato vs. white potatoes, stupid ****ing ****.
And goofballs like you will continue to pretend that it does so you will sound like you know what the **** you are talking about.
No **** that what you eat is important.Way more Xtreme Fitbitter than MissLadyJ or kureransu

Not seeing the relevance. Who said in that thread somebody should only eat cookies and stuff, because they are the foundation of good health and nutrition?
The OP of that thread wanted to know if white rice would stop him from losing fat in the face of a caloric deficit. Obviously, the answer is "NO".Way more Xtreme Fitbitter than MissLadyJ or kureransu

1) if you hit your caloric target you lose weight , it doesnt matter what you eat.
2) Lol no. If ur already in a deficit u shouldn't even worry about insulin. And there is no such thing as good carbs or bad carbs. With that said a persons diet should mainly consist of whole foods, but if u want some ice cream or cake that's fine as long as it fits macros.

I'm not quite sure how to interpret what you're saying there, but I'll give you some stuff to read that may help you.
This is somewhat incorrect, because macros matter. But when calories and macros are the same, food choices are irrelevant for fat loss. Appetite, satiety, performance, perceived well being, some chronic diseases, toxicity, etc, all those things are others issues, unrelated to fat loss. It's important to separate fat loss from those things so you can truly understand how it works.

I can't tell if you agree or disagree with this, but this will probably help you either way: http://weightology.net/weightologyweekly/?page_id=319

Mmm, megastuffed oreos :-)
OP: Anyone who comes onto a forum full of strangers and takes our nutritional advice for the ultimate truth, despite not knowing what our qualifications are is reckless and stupid. Any information someone collects to change their lifestyle should come from a reputable peer reviewed journal, because part of that commitment means searching the truth out for yourself. Plus you cannot equate advice on how to calorie restrict with advice on being healthy. You can easily have one without the other.
So if you feel we give retarded advice, who cares. Only a retard would trust every word we write. The nation-state and society seek to control the body in a myriad of subtle ways, so if you are going to fight for the right to do with your body what you please, why not make it a battleground worth fighting for? ;)

Sounds like someone is mad they wasted 3 years eating nothing but chicken and brown rice.

The people who come on here wanting information spoon fed to them, don't really have the drive or motivation to change their lives anyways... Lots of people (including myself) that came on here and read, read, read, non stop until they UNDERSTAND why they are doing what they do (to an extent). Also.. some people are so obese and have so many health issues that losing 250 pounds from eating nothing but Oreos is probably a healthier option than staying obese.
Learning something new here every single day... and I'm still not sure if I understand : /

HAHAHAHA, so some people will take some comments to mean they can eat garbage and get lean, and use it as an excuse to never change themselves.
The way i look at it, if i eat a damn oreo, thats too much of my macro gone and less chicken i can eat to fill my fat belly, in fact if i eat that oreo at the wrong time of the day the only thing i can then do to fill me up is drink water....Id rather be full of good protein than a tiny little cookie. (besides i have a recipe for PROTEIN POWDER COOKIES, they dont taste as good as an oreo but it works for the sweet tooth!)
Im making gains and loosing weight, with the help of people in this forum, not only from the folks who are decent human beings, but also the trolls /shrug sometimes a little troll is the best way to keep me on track so i can rub it in their face when i am where i want to be LOLFormer-Former-Former 400 crew!! (meaning i was under, then went over, and im now back under!!!!!)

Yup, that's part of the point of it (IIFYM especially) when you start tracking your are far less likely to eat the oreo because you realize how much wasted calories it is. But if you are truly desperate for some you can fit it in if you want, instead of restricting it and craving that oreo for days/weeks until you finally burst and eat a whole pack or two of it.

Strictly speaking, there are only 6 foods that work. Sweet potatoes are kind of an unofficial 7th food that can be swapped out for brown rice.
