Wouldnt these media releases put these men in increased danger? When Obama announced the other week that US special operations forces were conducting covert missions in Irag/Syria in an effort to save captured journalists in the wake of James Foley's death, I was like wtf. Why would he announce this material to the world? Simply to appease the liberal media that the US was making some sort of effort to save him? I feel like these type of units operate way more effectively without all of this media on them.
