Anyways, got there around 5:30 and she was finishing working on MBA research stuff about why the market crashed in 2008. I got there and she sat on the floor and I sat on the couch for about 20-25 minutes and we just chatted. Let's be honest, she wasn't responsive to ANYTHING really. She was very short and didn't seem to ask that many questions, to my replies or anyone else's, she's just short. I shouldn't be at fault for that. Switching gears wouldnt've worked because she obviously wasn't ready to talk about sex. And that's cool, if she isn't, she isn't, but acting like THAT would've gotten her over trying to have a regular conversation with her is a bit absurd to me. All you're trying to do is get her to bite. He wasn't giving her his life story or any of that, he was just answering some questions that normally warrant a response that keeps it going.

Maybe she's one of those "in your face" talkers. We don't know. But it does seem obvious she's very busy. I mean, she's been going to sleep early(what WE consider early) anyway, so I get it.

"Golf......convention" or something like that. His Friday/Saturday wasn't open, so he had to pick a date that worked for him. Then she fired back that she'll be in STL if I'm not mistaken, so she said next week. You HAVE to tell her the days you have free because you're working off her schedule. She's busier than you, as shown, so you need to let her throw out a date and if that matches with your free day(s), take it and work off that. This is precisely why he was told by others to tell her when you're available and let her contact you.

There was honestly no short way around this. Based on her timeline, the way she responds and their schedules, it was gonna be a long process anyway.

The funny thing about this in my eyes, a fair number of people in here are telling him to hurry up and if it was them, it wouldnt've taken so long. Bullsh**. Bullsh**. Try to get that date in person and its a different game. SHe was obviously interested at some level, probably physically, so id have went number then date sooner..

But if shes showing hesitation, which is better: Discussing it over text where she has ample time to second guess herself, get cold feet, etc.... or ignore it for now, get her out over drinks, etc... Shed have done half the tough part for her and itd be a lot easier for her to loosen up and ignore the age then.

Id rather be the one asking then deciding. Personally id say "ok id like that we'll fix something up next week", then next week id go for lets get drinks Thursday, then worst case you reschedule for the next day. Naming a bunch of days a week earlier where youll be free just sounds a bit off.
