Punching bag workout for cardio or running or walking

Hello there is 30 min 4 days a week of punching heavy bag on intervals as form of hiit for example 1 min of punching 1 min of rest and repeat that better than running 30 min or walking for 1 hour i like punching bag becouse its much more fun than running and walking for me and its actually harder to do than run or walk so is it good cardio to do after weights or would you recommend something else? Thank you

Sure mate, nothing wrong with it.

You could watch a few videos on basic kick techniques and try to work that in as well.

walking/joggin does burn more calories per hour. just an FYI. takes a lot more energy to move legs than arms.

    Tire pulls
Friday night. Date night in Miami. Every night is a date night in Miami, and everyone's having sex. But for me, sex never enters into it. I don't understand sex. Not that I have anything against women, and I certainly have an appropriate sensibility about men, but when it comes to the actual act of sex, it's always just seemed so undignified. But I have to play the game.

Spoken from someone who clearly doesnt know how to hit a heavy bag correctly. Done correctly the feet are always moving and setting up for the combos. You must be one of those fools i see in the gym trying to look tough standing there in one spot whaling on the punching bag has hard as they can thinking they are bad ass LOL

punch bags are awesome for cardio! Look up some basic muay thai techniques, just basic jab/cross/roundhouse kicks to practise, and if its a heavy bag, i would suggest some handwraps/gloves so you dont injury ur hand bones!
