Thank you so much to AppNut and Drooks10 for choosing me to train, and snooze, on their new HG4 Up
I am very interested in this product because of all of the fundamental components necessary to build a good physique, I'm the worst at sleep. Sleep is an integral part of your training program because it gives your body the chance to repair, recharge, and regrow. Sleep allows the muscles to repair themselves and the production of growth hormone (GH) increases during phases of deep sleep.
Sleep Stages 3 and 4
* Deepest and most restorative sleep
* Blood pressure drops
* Breathing becomes slower
* Muscles are relaxed
* Blood supply to muscles increases
* Tissue growth and repair occurs
* Energy is restored
* Hormones are released, such as: Growth hormone, essential for growth and development, including muscle development

Normal aging is accompanied by a number of catabolic effects, including a decrease in lean mass, increase in fat mass, and decrease in bone density. Associated with these physiologic changes is a clinical picture often referred to as the ****topause: frailty, muscle atrophy, relative obesity, increased frequency of fractures and disordered sleep.

Happy Saturday everyone! It's beautiful here today ..... about 83 and sunny. Lots of outside stuff today. I picked a bunch of fresh tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and onions from my garden this morning. I think I may make some fresh salsa this afternoon.
I will start my HG4 UP on Monday night. I downloaded a sleep app on my cellphone. I'm sure they're not totally accurate, but I think it will be a little interesting experiment to record my sleep this weekend and then see if any changes occur during the week while taking HG4 UP.
Currently I don't think I sleep very well most nights. I have a really hard time turning my brain off, mainly due to a demanding job, and I'm pretty sure I toss and turn quite a bit all night. I have noticed recently that my recovery after workouts has not been that great, so I'm really hoping to see some positive changes in both of those areas from this supplement.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

In and subbed on this one Swooshie! I am really curious to see how the sleep aid helps. Since I quit drinking I don't sleep as well.

NIGHT 1 ON APPNUT HG4 UP
I just took my first dose of AppNut HG4 UP. The pills are a little on the large side, but they went down easy, and I'm not the best pill taker in the world, so this is a big plus for me
I did notice a slight taste to the capsule (or maybe it's more of a scent), mainly an herb-type taste/scent, which I think may be the green tea. I've taken green tea supplements before, and this was very similar. Nothing unpleasant. There was no residual aftertaste at all and the capsules are enteric coated.
The directions are to take 4 capsules at bedtime with a slow-release protein, or on an empty stomach with 12oz of fluid. I've decided to begin with 3 capsules because I'm kind of a little thing and we'll see how I do on 3. I'm also going to take them on an empty stomach with 12oz of water. It recommends getting at least 7 hours of sleep and I consistently get between 5 and 6, so I will try to shoot for 7 because it can do nothing but good
I'll post up my workout tomorrow because it's already almost midnight (no way will that 7 hours happen tonight) I did snap a little post-workout pic tonight ........
Good night all! I'll report back tomorrow and get over to your journals tooCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Last night was my first dose too and I agree with your assessment about the taste/scent. Also, the outside of the pills have a different texture than what I am used to. It wasn't anything bad just caught me off guard!
