When I said particularly good, I meant top level. Poor choice of words. I won't get drawn in to a debate as to who is a better footballer as neither of could provide a non bias opinion, suffice to say I would rather have Sturridge in the team. I like Welbeck though, he is a model professional and has made the most of what he has been given. I do believe that he is a much better athlete than a footballer though.

Do you think Welbeck is top level? Yes, I do think Sturridge is a very good striker that's not to say I don't think he could improve though. There are a lot a strikers better than Sturridge, a lot of footballers better than Sturridge, but I think he is a very, very could player though.

Yes I do believe he is top level. However, I agree that if Welbeck were to sort out his finishing he would also be top level (perhaps better). That seems to be something he is struggling to do though, whether that is because of play time, being played out of position, confidence, training or whether he just doesn't have it in him is unknown.
