Hey guys,
I'am getting lean now, best I ever were and I would like to do some photoshoot etc. when I'am finished with cutting.
What I would like to ask is how does one get vascularity like this ....
I'am quite happy with my results so far, but I can't imagine that getting to 5% from 7% will make me vascular like this. This is just crazy.
Anybody knows how's something like this done ? I guess he doesn't look like this all the time Is it just eating ton of simple carbs before shoot ?
Any info would be very appreciated.
Thanks a lot guys.
ps: Not sure if I'am in right section, I'am not exactly preparing for contest just photoshoot.

if you're lean enough now and don't have it you probably won't get it. I am naturally vascular as F so when I am lean all it takes is me making sure I'm well hydrated (contrary to popular belief) and just a good pump, and some sunlight and I blow up. then again in middle school people got creeped out by my veins so I'm guessing it's probably the only thing I got as far as genetics...

Well I get some vascualrity, but the pic I posted is just sick and I'am nowhere near that. Will definitely try going lower with body fat and hope I'll find some more tips.
Anyway thanks for info, rly appreciate it. As for hydration I drink about 1.5-2 liters just thru my workout so I guess I can't improve much on this one

Genetics, a high carb meal before, water, and maybe a pump supplement like Hemavol.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

2 hours before gym 2 baby foods
1 hour before gym 8g of Citruline Malate, 2g Taurine
Training 90 min (abs, upper chest and some wide grip biceps curls at the end before pics)
10 min before taking photos, 50g of caramel chocolate
Photos taken at the end of training.
Is this sort of vascualarity low ? average ? "decent" ?
oh and no idea how to pose etc

you look pretty shreddy as it is dude. I usually get lower ab veins and quad veins last on the list. a few more weeks of dieting, the right pump and hydration, and a photographer who knows what they're doing and you could probably get some quality shots.
my best advice tho would be to NOT follow some bogus peak weak/water manipulation/sodium blah blah magic trick trash. just train and eat like you have been... the few times I've done that it jut screws everything up and you look flat and worthless. not sure about celltech and the likes for doing that kind of prep tho so I'm speaking from nattyworldYour life is your own, rise up and live it.

Pretty vascular, photo filters and lighting will help a lot too.

getting low bodyfat %, pumping up before the shoot. Make sure you are not carb depleted - makes it hard to get good vascularity.

Thanks, Layne Norton (my main source of info) says pretty much same thing and so does others, so I'll definitely stick to what I'am doing so far. When I asked some ppl at our gym, they were like yes "you cut sodium, water etc...".
Interesting point is getting warm, will try that out on my next re-feed.
Thank you, all for tipsLast edited by Flisker; 08-21-2014 at 11:45 PM.

The guy in the pic has a very low BF% and very good genetics. Your level of vascularity is primarily determined by three things: Your body fat percentage, the amount of water you’re holding under your skin (subcutaneous water and the degree of vasodilation (how wide your blood vessels are). The leaner you are, the less water you’re holding, and more dilated your blood vessels are both with and without a pump, the more vascular you look. However, Agmatine has been shown to help with vascularity by promoting nitric oxide production.

any supplement making claims to promote nitric oxide production is not going to do anything from you. agmatine is derived from l-arginine and you can expect similar effects.
I can't remember the specific studies, but you can look up arginine and vasodilation on pubmed.gov and there are multiple research articles that show modern supplemental doses of l-arginine or agmatine will not aid in vasodilation. for vasodilation to occur, the amount would need to be administered intravenously which would apparent cause the subject to profusely vomit.
agmatine and arginine do apparently have some analgesic effects which can lead to a mental edge in training/healthy mood.
....so more placebo than any actual physical effects you might be looking for but whatever works/to each their own.
the sickest vascularity I've gotten lately (especially abdominal) was simply from being hydrated, post gym shredding an upper body workout, and then slaying a large pepperoni pizza. 2 hrs later I had roadmap abs.
definitely all about experimenting on your own body to find out what works best!Your life is your own, rise up and live it.
