Yeah but consider the competition. Nothing happening could be considered cool compared with some of the chit that goes on in other cities. Riots, looting, tornadoes, etc etc.
Literally half of Australia's cities are in the top 10. Despite all it's problems, Australia is the GOAT country.

The livable city idea is crap. It's just a way for the type of people that write cnn articles to evaluate how much they would like to live in a place. And their idea of a good city is not the majority view.
They essentially want playgrounds for billionaires and hipsters. Not places where working people can comfortably arrange their lives around the things that matter to them.

Perth has most of its **** together, the only major negatives are:
Too isolated from the rest of the country
Expensive as fuk
Those negatives basically kill Perths potential, surprised its top 10. Also lol at Sydney or Mebourne having Australias best weather. Perths weather is better than both. Let alone weather on the gold coast.

You got to take these top ten list with a grain of salt, a lot of it is very subjective (Yes I Know the Criteria) Crime statistics are not crime statistics from nation to nation. A lot of stuff is not reported or investigated, such as where I live in Europe.

Everyone hates on Adelaide but it really is quite liveable. Has affordable housing, traffics isn't too bad and not tolls, convenient (though small) CBD and imo really good weather. Doesnt rain too much, no snow, no humidity and doesn't get too cold. Has a lot of pros of bigger cities with less cons.
I always hear good things about Canada but fk the weather. Snow is only going to make life harder.
I recently came back from the US and there were a fk load more homeless and disadvantaged people. Probably no big deal if your used to it but certainly a bit of a downer.
Surprised Switzerland didnt rank up there.
