I see your point but it may not have come to the attention of law enforcement in time if he were legally allowed to have a firearm at school. Part of the investigation involved the FBI discovering his attempt to purchase a foldable rifle, which he would never have done if he were allowed to keep a gun in his desk.

What are you missing here? I didn't say it would be physically impossible for him to bring a gun. But since it's against the law, it clearly raised some red flags with law enforcement who investigated it and arrested him.
Also what about teachers in schools where students are often confrontational and even physically aggressive (i.e. inner cities)? What's to stop a teacher from shooting a student who is shoving them or becoming aggressive and saying "I felt my life was in danger"? a la the Ferguson incident

Long story as short as possible, he was communicating with an online medium to whom he stated that he wanted to kill people. She reported him to law enforcement and they conducted a lengthy investigation in which they determined he had posted online about wanting to kill people and that he thought Adam Lanza (newtown shooter) was programmed by the gov't to kill people and that he himself might also be programmed this way.
Then he attempted to buy the collapsible rifle at which point the police intervened to question him in light of the string of strange happenings around him. While technically none of it is illegal, it certainly doesn't look good. It was determined that he was suffering from pretty severe mental illness and he was placed in a psychiatric institution for observation.
He didn't break the law but he certainly did enough to raise a few eyebrows.

So what raised eyebrows was his actions outside of school. How would enabling teachers to carry guns at school make what he did less suspicious? You literally have no argument with this example because even if he was allowed to carry a gun on campus, the same suspicions would have been raised for his actions.
Regardless, let's say he didn't make those posts online and bought a "foldable rifle" with the intent to kill people at school. Whether the law allowed it or not, he would have done it. How do you not understand this?Misc Firearms Crew

not trolling, just don't like the idea of armed teachers. obviously I understand there are factors at play in this situation besides gun laws. I went to a high school with 2-3 police liaison officers in the building at all times so there wouldn't really be a need for teachers to have guns at my school.
I am curious, what is your opinion of just having a couple police officers in schools for security rather than arming teachers? or would you say both?

If you don't trust that the teacher won't murder the students, you need to be home schooling, because no asinine law against people having guns at school is going to make the kids safe.
Most schools don't have 2-3 police officers there at all times.
Police officers are no different than anybody else and they can be dangerous the same as teachers or random members of the public.
Even if there were 2-3 police officers present that is still less resistance and less deterrence than if teachers and others could legally be armed as well.
You are a troll. The language you are using after the discussions we have had clearly indicate this. Fortunately we have been able to make that abundantly clear to anybody who happens to actually read this crap.

Make sure you try a Shield, too . . . my wife (about your size) has a G26, but she has been shooting the Shield more because it's thinner. But can't go wrong with the G26 if you like it.
