    Question Thoughts on my fat loss program with IF ?

    I'm 5'9 175 lbs and I want to lose 10-15 pounds. I heard the best and fastest method is IF so I decided to give it a try. So I go to sleep at midnight and wake up at 7 and I decided to eat from 10 to 6, about 1800 calories. First thing in the morning I do 30 minutes of jump rope, then I also do some MMA/High Intensity training at 5-6 PM for another hour. I'll be drinking a gallon of water a day. Don't worry, I'll go back to the GYM lifting weights in October since right now I'm sometimes out of town. How much fat do you think I can lose in a month during this program ?

    1800 is about an 800 calorie deficit. you'd lose about 1.5lb/week

    since you're not lifting though, expect to lose some muscle. you didnt mention macros.

    everyone talks about IF, i havent given it much of a try since i cant stay 4-5 hrs w/o eating in the morning.

    IF is no better or worse than any other eating pattern. It's a tool some use to aid compliance - no more no less. Works great for some, not so great for others.

    There is no magic to IF.

    More than if you did nothing.

I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad,they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.
