Well I drive a company mercedez and I've been working since 17 years old. Not in some crap job either, been working for my family's business so I actually do alright especially for my age.
Watch was a gift and jacket was something I comfortably bought considering most of my clothes are subtle and not horribly expensive.

Lmfao. Look at the lil kid getting mad at people telling him the truth.
I'm 24 and run two different businesses/LLCs that I started myself child. And I'm actually 6'3", made this account when I was 17. You average more posts per day than I do.
You could take the truth that 90% of this thread is breaking down for you, or you can keep believing that you're special because of your daddy's achievements. You're not, child.

So basically you're some loser who lived on moms couch until 25 (or probably still do) so think everyone should? Already told you I've been working for my family's business since 17, have been renting my own place and have a company car since I turned 18.
Also I am pretty damn mature, especially compared to the unintellectuals across the pond (like YOU).

At the end of the day, don't let anyone dictate your style OP there is no fashion police wondering around. Opinions are like aholes everyone has one, just this time the girl didn't like your outfit, who cares? Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and confident then that is what you should be wearing, don't let anyone tell you that there is a median way to dress at a certain age its all BS.

Because he's 18. A child. Do you think a man would start a brag thread about being able to buy expensive clothing? Or to let you know he's driving a Mercedes (that hilariously is being paid for by his dads company... See: by his dad). You know because I'm sure all employees with high school educations and all the vast experience 18 years provides are given company Mercedes. This thread has nothing to do with some chick not liking his clothes. Its him trying real hard to convince everyone and himself that hes a big boy. He works for his dad, hasn't earned anything and is bankrolled by his parents. Sounds like a man to me.

The shoes are fine bro, just not with that outfit, and not in the summer. I wear nice shoes all the time and got compliments from chicks. If your confident enough to wear something, then wear it. imo.
Though I will admit, I'm not a big fan of the pants. And the jacket was not worth $1000. Did you make sure you got good feedback before you threw down that kind of cash?

You're 18. Disregard all reddit fashion advice and magazines for men. Instead just have fun with fashion and experiment.. im 24 and still wear ripped jeans and a bandana around my head sometimes to school. There is no reason to be so serious about it.
My sister just started high school and there is a kid in her class who shows up in a suit, every day. They all laugh at him and think he's weird. Not that there is anything wrong with wearing a suit but because but it is when you're f*cking 15 and dress up for high school. You're kinda making the same mistake by wearing something a 40 year old dude would wear.

I literally own those shoes and I think that your choice to wear them is wack as phuk. First of all, don't pair black shoes with brown pants, generally avoiding mixing black and brown is some 101 type knowledge. Yes, this rule can be broken, but if you're 18 and don't have style yet then it's best to stick with following the rules. Secondly, they're way too formal for a polo, black oxfords are basically the most formal shoes a man can wear - I generally only wear mine with a suit or sometimes with dress pants + shirt (and no I wouldn't rock them with brown chinos, I have brown shoes for that). Finally, it's the summer time and you're wearing a heavy jacket and thick leather shoes, wtf is wrong with you? Unless you were going to a five star restaurant you were at least three degrees overdressed. It's ok to be slightly better dressed than the people around you (if everyone's wearing slacks and dress shirts, I think it's cool to rock a blazer e.g.), but don't look horribly out of place.
It's summertime, wear a casual button-down shirt with sleeves rolled up, jeans and some leather boots if you want to look a little bit classier than your peers. Don't go straight up 40 year old man.

Calling this a roll bread simply because he said he has Allen Edmonds and is from the UK. Their virtually impossible to get here and if you were spending $300+ on shoes you would go for one of the numerous famous English shoemakers (Barker / Cheaney / Churches / Loake etc...) not spending the extra dosh to get the American equivalent.
