My 13 year old is trying to plat TLOU right now. On his second play through but he's been raging more than usual so i don't think it's going well. I've got three more campaign missions in FC4 then I'll be playing TLOU for the first time ever. Stoked.

Yea, I mean I feel I help the team many more times that not, but I surely don't rack up the kill counts like you and Gerry do.

Fine with me, a couple games today I had 4 or 5 kills, a revive or two, and never died, to me that's success. But you and Gerry and TLOU Master Race, mirin' hard.

I downloaded it yesterday so I'll be playing it tonight as well.

Since you "borrowed" it, you'll probably be a little more harsh in your review while I'll go easy on it so as to not feel bad about my purchase. Lol

All joking aside, I'm not expecting much. It'll be a time waster that I'll play with friends who will quickly move onto the next time waster. I just hope that getting attacked by a human (player) Zombie isn't as annoying as getting hacked in Watchdogs was.

The game will be a free-to-play action title with item micro-transactions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. It’s produced by Minae Matsukawa, directed by Kent Kino****a, and executive produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi.

Players take on the role of an Awakened in the new land of Lestaria. You’ll be able to organize parties of up to four players (if you prefer to play solo, you can take three AI pawns with you), as well as chat, form parties, and spend free time in town lobbies with up to 100 people. There will also be a “Quick Matching” feature.

Dragon’s Dogma Online has a similar gameplay focus as its previous entries in terms of combat. Clinging attacks remain present. Players will battle against big enemies in dramatic battles. Monsters can become enraged, leading to fiercer attacks.

As for jobs, those currently confirmed in the game include the Fighter, Hunter, Priest, and Shield Sage. Players will be able to change their jobs whenever they like, as well as the jobs of their pawns.

Character create has seen an upgrade. The number of sections and parts you can edit has been considerably increased. Crafting mechanics are also present. Pawns can make things like consumables, weapons, armor. Pawns can also work together to shorten crafting time and increase overall build quality.

The game is open-world, and that open-world will be expanded little-by-little via large-scale updates launched seasonally. Bigger missions where up to eight players can participate are implied to be coming in one of these updates. Time-exclusive missions are also planned.

Famitsu also introduces a group of four characters part of the “White Winged Buddha Corps.” They are: Vanessa (voiced by Atsuko Tanaka), Leo (voiced by Koichi Yamadera), Iris (voiced by Marina Inoue), and Fabio (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya).

Sorry I didn't respond yesterday Sammy but here's my initial impression for the hour and a half I played

-hate that games dont let you co op right away (I.e. far cry 4, assassins creed) . 40minite prologue (that's with rushing and skipping cutscenes)
-much more narrative than dead island, resident evil esque story, me gusta
-poverty graphics, especially inside of buildings
-technically smooth both online and offline
-park our system is really well done, fun and intense as well
-takes forever to get to sundown
- combat no strategy nor aiming necessary, brain dead button smashing combat
-easy so far, not much experience playing at night though
- much much much less weapons available than dead island. I have only found a steel pipe and a water pipe...well multiple pipes. Ive found like 8 pipes.
-no more workbenches, now you craft from backpack
-controller audio works well.
-level design is fantastic.

Yeah man I think that's what gonna keep me from buying it. You just smash r2.
In the previous installment (dead island)
You could control the angle and direction of the swing which made the game more intense and strategic. In this game it doesn't seem to really matter if you hit their legs or head etc etc.
