Camper is with several others in a secluded area off a secondary road, in which you have to drive across someones lawn to get to the dirt road that leads to the clearing. As in, not somewhere you would be if you were just wandering around.

nah he's a retard. based on the article i read other than being able to use a gun (which might be a law here, but i doubt it) it seems we have the same trespassing laws as you. he seems confused.

I don't know every american laws but could you technically shot him without getting in trouble because he was on your property? A exchange student from Germany who was in America was shot by a guy after he entered his garage . It happened in Montana. He said he feared for his life...

No. Not the way you wrote it. You can't just shoot somebody for being on your property. He didn't break into OP's residence or living space and did not attack OP (possibly because of the presence of a firearm as a deterrent)
