First Time Slow/lean bulking- need quick answers

    Hi guys.

Okay so I started bulking around the last week of July (28th to be more precise) and so it's been nearly 3 weeks now. I'm lifting better, feel better and all.
I have a quick question as a first time bulker though.

Since I've started bulking I watch what I eat and I eat healthy except for a cookie here or sugar in my coffee/tea every now and then. My lifts are improving I know I've put on a little water weight yet I can see my abs still and when I stepped on the scale AND checked my waist, both values were exactly where they were BEFORE I started bulking. I still fit in my clothes though my jeans are somewhat tighter around the thigh but not much.

My question is: what's going on? Is this a good sign?

    Please do answer. Thanks!

If your weight didn't increase at all across the 3 weeks, chances are, you're eating at maintenance level. Try to increase your food intake by 500cals from what you're eating currently for a week and weigh yourself again. As to why your values didn't change despite you being better at lifting and all that, maybe someone more experienced can explain that for you. I don't know much about that, sorry :/

As for whether this is a good sign or not, I think you're the best judge of that.

Do weigh yourself more regularly (once a week) so that you know if you're doing things right or not so that you can make adjustments accordingly.
