2014 Fantasy Football Advice Thread

14 man league - Standard Scoring - +3 pts for 5+ receptions
Need a better RB2 - My team:

I am terrible at judging trades, I need to know some packages I could do for any of these RB's based on what they need and what I have. I am not opposed to dealing any of my players as long as I am getting equal return.

sanu is not a bad choice either

i might actually prefer him to williams because he'll get more looks. jimmy smith is not a bad cb though

Who to flex (currently have Quick)? Also, who's the most droppable out of the above people, and including Pierre Thomas and Reggie Wayne? Thinking about Thomas since he's so damn inconsistent, but my RB situation is so dire that I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger.

Like I said in the above post, Sanu is in a good situation

I'd probably say Wayne and PT are the most droppable

it would leave you pretty thin at WR
could you give up someone else instead of Marshall? and is there a flex in this league

Got Matt Ryan going this week with a banged up o-line vs DET pass rushers in London...not a good look. QB's in the FA pool are: Austin Davis, Alex Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Kyle Orton, Teddy Bridgewater, Colt McCoy, etc...

Who should i drop; if anyone? For what its worth, i am "projected" to win by a decent margin. His team is Flacco, Tate, Lamar Miller, Reggie Bush, WElker, Cecil Shorts III, Decker, Martellus Bennett, Cardinals DEF (also has Calvin Johnson hurt on his bench)

Should i just bite the bullet and take Ryan's 12-15 or so points rather than drop somebody who i might need later on?

Would go with Williams as well....huge boom or bust guy, but has a higher ceiling than anyone else listed while having the same floor\

edit: Thanks for the reply yuja. Thats what i was thinking as well, and it made more and more sense to me as I wrote the post

Anyone else thinking about picking up Ray Rice on the off chance that his suspension is lifted? What teams would want to sign him and take a major PR hit?
Is he worth taking a chance on or would it just be waste of a roster spot?

Prob not, I'm going to keep a close eye on it. I did put a claim in on Ryan Mathews though, hopefully I get lucky and get him.

its a 2 flex league.

im trying to give up deandre hopkins and torrey smith instead of brandon marshall.

i feel like this is a great time to get Graham since his stock is low, he will only be back to normal after his injury.. you dont think its that serious do you?

I would take it.

Lamar over Gore is a huge step up IMO - and then you have to put Calvin's health into consideration

You need RB's desperately and already have a very solid group of WR's
