I never said they were peaceful. They weren't. They didn't invent the habit of scalping people only when Europeans arrived. But they did live in nature with other animals as if they were just another species of animal. Humans today don't do that; we destroy the natural habitats of other animals and mass produce them, and we never allow them to live natural lives in the same territory that we live in.

Not saying there's anything wrong with killing other animals but the funny part comes in when we can literally not live with other animals in the same environment. We're so superior, so intact from the rest of the animal kingdom that we have to create our own artificial living environment that separates us from them

I always hear that life expectancy was low but then again I always hear about people who lived considerably longer. I have this weird thing about reading ages of ancient people. If I'm on wikipedia reading about Socrates or someone, I like to look at their age. I see ages around 60 to 70 years plenty of times.
