I had the opportunity to try out a small jug of Ergoblast by Ergogenix(Rob was kind enough to send me samples). My upfront review is 8.5/10. Ergoblast doesn't try to do too much like most pre-workouts these days. It's not full over 100+ ingredients, it's main purpose is to provide clean, jitter free energy, and that's exactly what it does. It has b-complex and caffiene with some other nutrients in it to get a simple, energetic feeling that lasts a solid 40 minutes. Without overdoing extra stimulants like theobromine or amphetamine derivatives, I found this pleasant to use during cardio, or circuit training with olympic lifts. Also, it tastes phenomenal! Ergoblast is one of the best tasting pre-workouts I've ever had.
So, if you're looking for a jitter free, moderated rush of energy that you barely notice, this is the stuff. You aren't suddenly hit by it, you just sort of realize you're performing optimally, focused, and cool, without your heart pounding or your skin flushing. Ergoblast keeps it simple and effective, avoiding the issues that most other pre-workouts can't seem to grasp. Less is more, and Ergogenix got it right.
This is basically an energy drink in powdered form, 300mg caffiene per serving vs 300mg caffiene per can, some aminos, some vitamins, pretty much everything you would expect to get in a can of Rockstar or Monster but without the acidity, with much better flavor, and without overcomplicating it. Good job Ergogenix, you got something other people don't, and that's simplicity :-)

Honestly you'd find the same amount of caffiene in most tall cans of energy drinks these days. The difference is Ergoblast won't burn your teeth out with the acidity and tastes much better than the carbonated metallic yuckiness you get out of most sports energy drinks. Also, $2 for a can of Monster/Rockstar(if you're lucky), $0.98 for a serving of Ergoblast.

Haha I haven't had an energy drink for years. I'll pass on the sugar or aspartame. I have much more faith in ErgoGenix!!
