I have 5 websites that don't even have any social media, I don't do any off page SEO, don't post on forums, no list building, nothing. Everyone finds my shiit through google and I made 900 bucks last month.
I can't help but feel like I'm missing out, I should be doing seedy/sketchy seo shiit and some ****gy ass social media (i ****ing hate social media) to jack up my visitors

Many people check their emails daily.
Regular emails = opportunities to establish a relationship and trust with customers.
The universal advice is (unless you are planning on high volume spam) not to try to sell straight away, but to spend a number of emails offering information and/or products for free that add value. Apparently once your offer, service or product comes are far more willing to spend. If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...

dam dude. How do people find your sites then? Just really good on-page keyword research?
This is what I keep hearing from all of the gurus. That the money is in the list. You create a life-time customer by acquiring their email address instead of selling them something one time and they may never return.
Since I only use free tools, I get Domain Authority and Page Authority from Moz.com. I check backlink profile through ahrefs.com. I check MozRank through Moonsy.com and you can see social media footprint through socialsiteexplorer.com. I believe that is also on Ahrefs though. It is a really bootleg way to do things, but I'm too thrifty to pay for an all-in-one good tool. I'm probably about to put all this stuff down though, running around in circles trying to figure out what stats truly matter the most

Im going to need to move a few hundred bags of beef jerky relatively quickly. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this?
Im going to sell through my website, amazon, word of mouth, and hopefully through convenience stores either through consignment or an order.
For amazon im going to try and get some positive reviews, and also do some advertisement through them, and hopefully get some organic purchases.
For my website I would like to get a few blog mentions, and drive traffic to the site from social media, press releases, and some paid advertisement through ******** ads, and adwords.
For everything offline im going to try and get my friends to buy some bags and sell to convenience stores.
Any tools that would possibly make this easier? I have a bot for instagram, and twitter. I think at one point people were using something called like4likes to get traffic so that may be an option.
So basically if you needed to move 500 bags of beef jerky in one month how would you do it?No signature

Jerky isnt a huge product here in Australia so maybe somebody is already doing it, but is anyone marketing it as a low cal protein snack? that could be an angle. Get some ripped kunce to pose with the amazing 200 calorie snack that is almost pure protein with minimal fat and carbs?
Call it Jacked Jerky or some chit?weight = 69.9kgs (154lbs) ---- > 82.4kgs (181lbs) ----> 85.1kgs (187lbs)

Packaging is VERY important to a business. You get what you pay for, regardless of the country. Did he give you a reason for dropping the gig? Maybe he thought $5 was too little.
Drop me a PM & we can talk about your packaging if you'd like.
Updates on my new site: Logo done, 300+ followers on Twitter now (first time using twitter so it's quite experimental), WP theme has gone in and I need to start customizing some stuff before I start getting articles in.Graphic & Web Designer.

i have no experience with designing packaging specifically, but what i have found with cheap outsourcing is they do the bare minimum. Design is a trade like plumbing or carpentry. Often the budget people do as little as possible to get paid and nothing more, even if they had an amazing idea that would make your product look 10x better they wont suggest it as it will take them more time and therefor lower their bottom line. Just a thought mate, Hyundais and Ferraris are both cars, but i know which i prefer and which is better.
In my real life job some of my competitors charge 1%, i successfully charge 3%. People that will work for next to nothing place no value on their own time so they certainly dont give a **** about your product / job / success / lifeweight = 69.9kgs (154lbs) ---- > 82.4kgs (181lbs) ----> 85.1kgs (187lbs)

Yeah I get that, but I have seen some really great logos done for 5$ that world normally cost 200$ on 99designs. The 5$ for the product packaging is to get a very rough idea of what I would want it to look like. Then 5$ to make the rest of the changes. I may end up paying 50$ but i much rather do that than 300+
