    Pressing on with Jesus

I hope to use this journal to help me stay focused and growing in all areas of my life (Physical, Spiritual, Social/Relational, Financial, Intellectual). I hope to reinforce into my mind and spirit that my life and every area of it needs to be used for God's Will.
I will update with goals for each soon.
    ------------------------

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
    Matthew 22:36-40

Random thoughts I will organize as I go:

    Goals:
    LT= long term (life long)
MT= medium term, where I hope to be in a year
ST= short term, what I hope to have in place in a month (30 days to form a habit?), smart= specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely

Matthew 6:33 always my guide, my return to what matters.

Balance in all areas: Spiritual, Physical, Social, Career/Financail, Mental

    SPIRITUAL:
LT: complete Christlikeness, a servant to all, unconditionally loving and forgiving to all people at all times
    MT: more selfless
ST: get back into at least one weekly Bible study

    PHYSICAL:
LT: be a healthy pure temple for the Holy Spirit's guidance/use
MT: be more in touch with listening to my body and responding to its needs
    ST:

    SOCIAL:
    LT:
    MT:
    ST:

    CAREER/FINANCIAL:
LT: be a Kingdom builder, all glory to God in all things, From Him through Him and to Him are all things
    MT:
    ST:

    Random venting:

I think I need a place where I can just vent my thoughts so I will be doing that here. I don't know what is wrong with me anymore. My moods are anxious and depressed more often than I'd like to admit and i'm angry at myself for that. I feel like my hunger cues are very off as well; I force myself to eat then don't trust that my body is digesting it. I am detoxing cigarettes right now so that is part of it I think. I need to be patient and mindful right now, focused on Jesus.

Goal of the week: CHANNEL ALL ENERGY THAT WOULD BE USED TO WORRY INTO LOVING MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. BE PROACTIVE AND GENEROUS.

Caffeine: improved focus, crash after certain time, relieves anxiety, instinct mode

Tyrosine: instinct mode, good for housework, lowers inhibitions, better digestion, helps with water retention,

    Fishoil: relaxation, focus, helps sleep

    Glutamine: energy, joy, major gas
