Kai had Phil here IMHO, more size and better conditioning. But, would say, a repeat of this pose down in pre judging and on game day be enough for them to give Kai the Sandow? Kai looked phenomenal here IMHO. If he can bring this on game day with even further tweaks/improvements, I don't think Phil getting his fourth straight Sandow is as sure of a bet as a lot of people are already thinking.

Well it's a fact. The only way Kai would place ahead of Phil at the post O' shows is if Kai won the O' itself. You know the drill.

You have to admit kai is a significantly better athlete than Heath here? You must be able to see this, I mean you have over 40K reps and must be able to see facts to earn them. Can you admit Kai should have won that title and not Heath?

Check point 1.55 in the footage, Wo1f and ka1 and destroying Heath in front lat spread, they are both better conditioned, wider, better taper, better quads, this contest was not even close. Heath's major flaw (I wont say it but its the W word) is too obvious for the judges not to notice and points should have been deducted here.

Point was, yes I realize that the shows following the Olympia that have the top 3 from the O competing are going to be placed as such, that is a given BUT if Kai brought this from the get go, at the actual O first...I mean, to me, I would think this would qualify as "knocking the champ out"...I know there were some Phil fans on various boards who watched the 2013 AE and said themselves that Kai was the better man that contest.

Definitely. If he bought that package to the judging and finals it should be a pretty clear win.

I didn't have Kai winning this show because his gut ruined his FR, SR, RR, FDB, FLS, SC, ST, RLS, BDB, Ab&Thighs and MM.

That moment where Kai was called in 2nd place, what a horrifying thing for my consciousness to process.

It depends on how you perceive it.

Kai has a much thicker and rounder muscle belly, which is an advantage in the side poses.





Phil seems to have a deeper crevice and striations, which is an advantage in the rear poses, but keep in mind that Kai's pelvis is outwards and Phil's is inwards.






Kai's more straightened out and has less crevice ;




Depending on how he positions his knee, he can have an amplified devil's horn;

Phil held his own here until they turned around. Then Kai stamped his authority imo.

Not sure that would be enough to beat Phil at the O. Imo, Phil was a little off here so it is not the best guide.
