so heres the deal, last thursday me and my friend josh were doing our regular workout, we both take pre workout supps, his which includes RagNoRok, creatine, and a vasodialator or something. i take prejym. well anyways, we started working out on the bench and everything was fine, we completed a few sets and felt pretty good about it. about 30 minutes in i noticed my friend sweating a lot and starting to become unresponsive, as i walked to him he fell off his seat and was no longet alert. we called the medics and had him shipped to the hospital. he stayed in the ICU until saturday and they preformed several tests. the doctors finally came sunday and told us he had a full blown heart attack caused from stimulants. they said the overconsumption of the stims put to much strain on his heart and most likely caused his heart to beat irregularly for sometime. i was and still am in shock. he is only 24 and now the doctors are saying he will be out of the game permanently. sucks Misc. we have been through the **** overseas and stateside, now he gets derailed by preworkouts rather than all the other stuff. makes you really think what is in all the stuff we take and how well it is tested. but then again maybe he was overusing it.
Cliffs:
24 Y.O Friend and i go to workout out.
Friend does a few sets and seems OK
Friend loses alertness and falls off seat.
friend become unresponsive and OP calls medic
Friend goes to the ICU for 3 days
Doctors tell OP and friend that Friend had full blown heartattck and cant lift anymore
Friend is depressed and OP feels bad
OP now wondering about stims and how well they are researched

Ok in that case serious question
Does he do cardio and how often
I do cardio almost every day and what I have noticed is it takes more speed / resistance to get my heart rate up than before I started doing cardio.
Makes me think it could help prevent this sort of thing.
Yeah and cigarettes are healthy for you and your baby

Congenital heart defect, would bet on it. No healthy 24 year old is gonna have an MI from only a preworkout. Unless he had half the fukking container, mixed with other potent, high-dose stims, there was something else going on there.

Using preworkouts isnt dangerous on places with high temperature?
aka the beach?
I've heard that taking caffeine and being on hot places can cause heart attacks or related issues. Thats why you dont take EC stack in some places.
Stay safe brahs and do your research.
I think it has something to do with body temperature going through the roof so you colapse.“If you can walk with the crowd and keep your virtue, or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch; If all men count with you, but none too much; then you'll be a man, my son.”
