Thanks man! Just wish I could get past this 5x5 on bench. Gotta tell myself that even though I'm not getting stronger in the 5 rep range, my 1RM has still skyrocketed since switching to this routine.
Oh, I forgot! Weighed in today at 167. Gained two pounds, still dropping fat!B: 320

Doing good work matey
Don't sweat the bench 5x5- you smashed a huge 1rm PR and your OHP has been steady rising.
Reset sounds like a good idea as does a rest day- this routine looks taxing!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Training is looking good OD! Benching is still looking pretty impressive, especially for your weight. I struggle to get 5 reps at 215....

Thanks brother.
Ya, feel like the rest did me some good. Unintentionally took another rest day (yesterday) since I was in the library all day studying.
The routine isn't as taxing as it looks, actually. You acclimate pretty quick and then it's really enjoyable.
Thanks for the encouragement man, it's appreciated. Feel like bench is my weakest lift and it takes a ton to get it to budge an inch. We'll all get there though
So far so good man. Gonna be homework filled thoughB: 320

So yesterday was an unintentional rest day. In my 8am class yesterday, I found out there was a test later that day (at 7pm). Of course I started freaking out, so I immediately went to the library and was studying almost constantly the entire time. The average was an 80, and I got a 90!
Also, emailed my coach about my bench being stuck and he gave me something to do instead of resetting the weight. Going to switch up rep ranges for a while and then go back to 5x5. Right now it's 5x6 for 2 weeks, and then 3x3 for 2 weeks.

Smoked that test with a 90! Win right there
Strong squats- loving those 305 singles! In4 315 singles!
Liking the bench scheme. The 6 reps will be some nice volume then the 3x3 will really let you pile some extra weight on the bar.
Enjoy your weekend homie!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Thanks brother! Very pleased with the 90 considering I didn't study until the day of haha
Ya, I'm glad I emailed coach and he had an alternative. Think it'll do me good
315 singles are definitely next. I think I actually like multiple top sets instead of 3 back off sets.
And for the bench change, those were exactly my thoughts too.

Hit some good numbers today. It's a friend's bday today, had to keep the workout short in order to get to dinner on time.
I should have done better. I was just didn't really have any energy today and my stomach was kinda upset (which was fun with ATG front squats...)

Good workout today! Had some good energy that lasted through the workout. I have about one more workout with Ergoblast so I'll save updated thoughts until the final review.

Thanks man! Happy with how front squats are progressing for sure
Thanks Woody! Working up to 315 (and 315 itself) is definitely getting easier. Faster and deeper is progress even if the weight isn't increasing. Also happy with how OHP is progressing. Three more increases (which I know 3 is significant, but still..) and it'll be 5x5 with bodyweight!B: 320

This is the last workout with Ergoblast. Ended on a good note with the last few workouts, and even though I didn't set a PR or anything, 305 and 315 are definitely getting easier. So I'm happy with it.
Final Review will be up later today or tomorrow
