Squats, that is.
I recently hit 200, which I am still fuh-reaking out about. I didn't hit a 1-plate squat til January, so I'm hoping I still have some sort of gains left in me.
I know it's a long way to 300, probably a lot longer than it took to get to 200, so I'm wondering--are any ladies there? And how long did it take you?

Wait - you went from 135 to 200 since January? That's pretty amazing. You got full depth?
300# squat is unlikely to be reached for most women - it is considered elite for a 199 lb woman.

It was A2G, or as close as I can get. High bar/belted, if it matters. I started with an Oly coach in January, though, so he gets credit (he works me pretty hard).
Good to know. I'll aim for 100kg first (220) and move from there. I don't know about 300 but I think 250 might be in the realm of possibility for me, some day.46kg snatch | 62kg c&j

Far far from it, stuck at 245 for now. If I ever hit a 300 squat I'm going to screenshot it and send it out as my Christmas card pic, srs.

After considering my response, I felt bad for sounding negative or discouraging. I think 300 is an elite goal but for someone who is training specifically for that type of lifting it is of course in the realm of possibility. I'll be excited to hear how you progress!

Thanks! Good to hear that a couple ladies have gotten there. I know knee wraps will come eventually--I'm just about the only person at my gym that doesn't use them. I'm guessing I'll be all about that tendinitis life soon, though. Yippee.
No harm no foul I figure I'll aim for the moon, and even if I miss I'll land among the stars (or at least the mid 200s, ha).46kg snatch | 62kg c&j

I think too many people (both genders alike) focus too much on what they can't do and not on what they can do. Continue to do better, and screw "genetic limits". Even though there are some incredible world records for both genders set, I still am not convinced anyone has ever reached their true genetic potential.

A 300 lb squat is likely attainable for someone of your stats who is uninjured, focusing on strength and form in 1RM, and has the patience to take years (if necessary) to get there. Those exr stats are IMO a bit low and targeted more for "regular" gymgoers who don't focus purely on strength gains. Look up some of the raw powerlifting class standards per weight class for a better idea.
Going from 135 to 225 is relatively *much* faster than getting to the 315 range. At some point, you will have to understand that putting 5 lbs on your PR in a year is going to be a celebration, lol.
As for wraps, I would not look at them as something to use for knee health. Wraps generally are used in order to utliize that rebound effect to be able to move more weight. I squat heavy wrapless/sleeveless pretty much all the time, and only add wraps in when I am close to a meet that uses wraps. If you have funky knees, knee sleeves would be more appropriate.
Good luck, it's a fun road!Gym PRs:
SQ: 360 x 1, BP: 165 x 1, DL: 330 x 2, OHP: 110 x 2
Best meet lifts (raw w/wraps):
SQ: 365, BP: 155, DL: 350, Elite total of 870 @165
