Hey guys!
I'm fairly new to this, only 17 years old. I've decided to seriously start getting into shape in order to compete in fitness bodybuilding competitions, and I have been wanting a tattoo for the longest time. It's of huge importance to me, and since I compete in track and field, I was thinking of getting a phoenix tattoo in black and white on my right leg about two inches below my knee to where my ankle starts. I've heard that having a tattoo will have a seriously negative impact on judging if I compete with it. Is this true? Do you think I'd be allowed to cover it with makeup? Any help would be great

Flex Lewis has a tattoo and he's the reigning and defending 212 Mr. Olympia Champion.
Dorian Yates had a tattoo and he won 6 Mr. Olympia titles.
Kevin Levrone had a tattoo on each of his forearms and was still FULL BLOWN, BABY. 100 DUMBBELL CURLS, IN YO' FACE.
Too much of anything can turn into a bad thing but...don't worry about a single tattoo on your shin.
Don't go too crazy, though.
