His leg already had stress or microfractures leading up to that. Plus a guy of his size and his schedule, he should have adequate calcium and vitamin D intake

Honestly, I don't remember all of the specifics. Its been a while since he told me about it.
I think it had something to do with how steroids affect the bones, but I don't remember for sure.
He did tell me that that kind of break happens because of steroids and it happens more often than you think. He seemed pretty sure.

Like I said. I am not an expert. I asked an expert and that was his answer. I asked him because he is an authority on sports injuries


When I tell people that I know who also know the doctor that he said that, they just say "WOAH!"
