    I didn't lose much progress right?

    My wife ended up in the hospital and we have no one around to watch our kids so I had to stay home and miss the gym for the last 3 days. The first day I managed to keep my protein and fats up but the last two days My protein has fallen to where I have gotten only like 120 grams. I am sweating it because I have been hitting my fats and proteins and have been dropping weight and I just started noticing a huge difference. Looks like I am doing a good job of preserving what muscle mass that I have.

    Today I wasn't hungry so i didn't eat till like 2 then had a greek yogurt and then at 6pm I hit costco and went crazy. Had a hot dog and slice of pizza and a frozen yogurt. Followed that up tonight with some cereal at home. So my protein was only about 120grams but my calories were just over maintenance so I am not to worried about damaging weight loss too much.

    Anyways, the wife is home now so tomorrow morning I will be back at the gym but I didn't lose much progress in 3 days of missing the gym if My calories were just 100 or 200 over maintenance or below maintenance right? Gonna hit it hard tomorrow morning..thats another reason why I carbbed it up today so that I can have the energy to kill it tomorrow.

    3 days? really?
    c'mon. that's nothing.
    unexpected things like this happen all the time, and you will occasionally miss workouts, but 3 days is nothing. get back to the gym and forget about it.

    Thats what I thought..actually after writing this and reading it I felt kind of stupid for asking and was looking for a way to take my post down but couldn't find it. Thanks for the reply man. repped since I thought no one would reply. lol

    recognising you've fallen out of your routine is good, but 3 days aint nothing to worry too much about.

    Thanks man...I kind of figured that.. If anything it may have been a nice little break since I have been hitting it 6 days a week for the last 6 weeks or so. Plus I ate a little above maintenance which who knows but maybe might help my progress along since my cals were up for a few days and now will drop back down.

    don't worry about little lapses like that. Just enjoy it and keep going with your workouts. Hopefully you didn't taint the experience of eating that wonderful costco pizza with guilt.
