This is some SRS chit. IMO all the worlds top research scientists should stop working on cancer, HIV, and whatever they are doing for the time being and put all efforts into this before millions die. Should never have gotten to the point of exponential infections.

Another healthcare worker tests positive for Ebola in Dallas
http://www.wfla.com/story/26789184/s...tive-for-ebola
The department said in a statement that the worker reported a fever Tuesday and was immediately isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Health officials said the worker was among those who took care of Thomas Eric Duncan, who was diagnosed with Ebola after coming to the U.S. from Liberia. Duncan died Oct. 8.
In a conference call late Tuesday, the nation's largest nurses' union described how the patient, Duncan, was left in an open area of the emergency room for hours. National Nurses United, citing unidentified nurses, said staff treated Duncan for days without the correct protective gear, that hazardous waste was allowed to pile up to the ceiling and safety protocols constantly changed.
http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-...ry.html#page=1
Duncan's lab samples were sent through the usual hospital tube system “without being specifically sealed and hand-delivered. The result is that the entire tube system … was potentially contaminated,” they said.
“There was no advanced preparedness on what to do with the patient. There was no protocol. There was no system. The nurses were asked to call the infectious disease department” if they had questions, but that department didn't have answers either, the statement said. So nurses were essentially left to figure things out on their own as they dealt with “copious amounts” of highly contagious bodily fluids from the dying Duncan while they wore gloves with no wrist tape, flimsy gowns that did not cover their necks, and no surgical booties, the statement alleged.

From Dr. Tom Frieden, head of the CDC:
"We could've sent a more robust hospital infection control team and been more hands-on with the hospital from day one about exactly how this should be managed," he said Tuesday.
Frieden outlined new steps this week designed to stop the spread of the disease, including the creation of an Ebola response team, increased training for health care workers nationwide and changes at the Texas hospital to minimize the risk of more infections.
"I wish we had put a team like this on the ground the day the patient - the first patient - was diagnosed. That might have prevented this infection," Frieden said.
Crack team we got running the place over there. 3000+ dead in Africa and they don't have a team ready to go... WTF?Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you. -AW

expect more cases- someone on another forum who is involved with emergency services in dallas announced this case would be confirmed on Monday and it turned out to be true.
Also according to him: "I have a trustworthy source that states that 5-6 nurses and a doctor, who all worked on Duncan, had developed fevers. I trust my source, but Frieden said that none of the other healthcare workers were showing symptoms. I trust my in house source more than Frieden, but that would be huge if the CDC is lying. What protocol? Stupid to blame them on breaking protocols that kept changing and they had no formal training in. They were not trained in how to properly remove and use PPE and the CDC guidelines they had for it were crap anyway. They had 0 training for how to handle an ebola case before it happened and no hands on training for PPE use and removal. The protocol did not involve spraying down with bleach solution and using a buddy to decon like they do as a standard in west africa.
