I know exactly what you mean. I went through this in my late teens. A lot of kids were doing speedballs behind the school building and egging each other on to go further and further. Drugs was everywhere were I grew up and it ended 5 of my friends lives prematurely. Sometimes the parents didn't even know their kid was on something.
Saddest thing I ever saw was when I found my friend after school hours behind the building. He had that white/yellowish foam coming from his mouth and a purple face. He wasn't breathing and his drug 'buddies' just left him when $hit got real. That scarred me for life. All faith in humanity was lost and shortly after that I moved to the other part of the country.6'6

And thats why you never do drugs folks. You dont need em to have a good time. Weed and Alcoho is fine, otherwise goodbye life. I know I'd never put that stuff in my body. I plan on having a healthy and energetic life well into my 70s.

this. It's becoming a big problem in wealthy parts of the Northeast. I'm from Westchester County in NY and in the last year or two there's a been an insane amount of drug overdose deaths in the news. Police around here are now required to carry some chit that's like an OD-antidote that revives people 100% srs. we have a task force solely dedicated to heroin now.

After the war on drugs in the US, ******* use tripled and heroin use doubled.
I knew two brothers that were on heroin where both died of overdoses about a year apart.
Where I live, people laugh at that (srs). If you say "this heroin addict died" they laugh.u wot m1.68179283050742908606225095246644152â´

I've lost two drug involved friends to suicide. From the Midwest, heroin isn't too big here. One shot himself in a benzo delirium, the other hung himself but I can't say for sure what was influencing him.

It doesn't ususally start with "I think I'll try heroin today."
I went to the hospital for an injury and got put on hydrocodone. That ran out and I was still feeling pain and physically addicted at that point so I bought more pills off of friends. The pills are super expensive and heroin is a cheap way to be pain free and not get sick from withdrawal. I'm not trying to rationalize it, but this is how it usually happens (not necessarily the perscription part, but people tend to try pills first and then can no longer afford the habit).
Sounds more like ********"For monkeys to speak of truth is hubris of the highest degree. Where is it writ large that talking-monkeys should be able to model the cosmos? I was in the groups of people that weren't taking that chit but nearly were. I mean people did that chit, but only very few people and most of the rest of the people kinda wondered why they did it. If you ever had morphine then you already know what heroin feels like. What a waste of time it is. Even as a painkiller it is unnecessary, they could just use hemp oil but they can't in case it cures you of other things (which it does/would).

heroin withdrawals are the worst thing i've ever seen. people feel like bugs are crawling all over them. it's amazing how people who have knowledge of what this does even start up to begin with. seems like the worst thing you can do to yourself and putting yourself in hell

definition:
PCP
Also known as angeldust. Probably the scariest of all drugs. Was used as a horse tranquilizer. Makes the user hallucinate, become extremely violent, and not feel anything. People have been known to do horrible things to themselves while under the influence of PCP. DO NOT USE PCP. DO NOT. IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE.

Came in to post saying this chit has been getting crazy in MA, and seen you're from here as well. No one real close to me has passed, but just hearing about kids from my town passing is awful.

I'm a huge advocate for the use of "hemp oil" for its medicinal properties, but know first hand that it won't do JACK CHIT to help you with post-operative or traumatic pain. Opiates are a god-send for those that need them, but they sure can mess your chit up if you aren't careful.

you can't really be this dense.
this. it doesn't even necessarily have to be have that high power of a job. I have a friend who works in multimedia advertising and his boss straight up lent him $100 to buy coke last weekend just because he heard my friend talking about how he wanted to buy coke but didn't want to spend the $.
