Aaaanyway cliffs:
Giant police effort began in 2009 to catch the major importers and suppliers in Sweden which of mr. Kjällström was highly involved hence the sentence to 2 years and 9 months in jail.
He fled the country last year, competed in Arnold Classic Brazil as we all know but the Brazilian police has no deal with the Swedish cops when it comes to delivering refuge crims so he was safe until he went to England in June where he was arrested and as of 24th of July, shipped over to Sweden for zi jailtime.
Good night sweet prince (and gains of glorious orangejuice) ^^
That'll be that, no more oversized Brach-warren-Physique to harass the bodybuilding stages of the world any longer! Woop Woop!

Sweden is a bit of a stickler on PEDs for some reason. It's a shame. I met Martin and he was a respectful guy to me.

A real shame.
He's 42 and he'll go away for three years. Hard to imagine that he can come back from this. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

Actually the only thing I hold against him is that well... his physique is quite in shambles and he is a bodybuilder after all so that's what I judge him by.
Oh and also: He's not going to jail for taking stuff, he's going to jail for being one of the guys in charge of a hyyyuuooge cartel bust which imported and sold on tens of thousands of UI's. We don't really like those sorta things in Sweden i'm afraid. Taking is a minor offense, really. But dealing, whole other deal! Especially this type of large scale business. He's just a druglord with plenty o' oil all over the place and a much overdue physique
Plenty of people take whatever around here just like any other part of the world. It's just more looked down upon socially than in other countries. I compete in a tested fed and my only concern is what goes on with other athletes in the fed. Average joes and aspiring bodybuilders and whatnot can do what they please. They don't compete and if they do it's bodybuilding... sort of the backbone of the whole sport is dem vitamins660 / 484 / 600 @ 270 lbs

Economics is a tricky subject.
My theory: if this stuff was totally legal, there would be a lot more freakish physiques walking around, which means the average person would be less grossed out by it, which means they'd be more likely to take an interest in pro bodybuilding as a sport, which means more people at the Olympia and Arnold, more people buying stuff, etc. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

Hmm, so many ways to see it.
I'm not knowledgeable about the substances but I'd suppose, considering the prudence around it, it would be unsafe to simply sell them without some kind of certification or permit, just in case people start taking them like candies and ,possibly, severely injure themselves.

Harming no one = doing nothing wrong.
Moronic to ban drugs, might as well ban trans fats, ban alcohol, ban cigarettes, ban crossfit(semi srs), ban seated desks, put those over 15% BF in jail, ban soda and ban bad form.
Where do you draw the line?
It is our own choice as to what we do with our bodies.

You might be right, I have no valuable knowledge on the subject to defend my point, I'm really just speculating.
Hormone manipulation seems more dangerous due to the risk of infection, the risk of messing up your hormones, which could lead up to worse things later on, etc. I've never heard someone dying from alcohol.
Agreed that in the long run, steroids are probably more harming.

I never denied that, I said that I personally never heard of alcohol related deaths in particular.
I didn't state anything as a fact neither, and whether alcohol related deaths are more common or not, doesn't correlate with my point.
I'm saying that the measures and risks around the use of "substances" seems to be far greater than alcohol, which could explain why pros need coaches, or as I've seen them being called before, "chemists".
The whole process of thought and risks behind taking steroids are greater than recreational alcohol consumption, where drinking 'what' and 'how much' are the only concerns...compared to taking a variety of substances with a strict protocol and measuring to ensure the best results while preserving your health and safety, is on a whole other level of cautiousness.

Indeed but one has a greater needs for planning and cautiousness (hence why the need of coaches is sometimes required).
My point is that; I believe that the legalization of steroids should have a very strict distribution (permit/license/etc.) because of how complex it is, compared to alcohol consumption for instance.

Sweden is a joke in many regards.

I've never heard of anyone that died from alcohol poisoning. Most of the alcool related deaths are car accidents and cirrhosis (but thats from a lifetime of drinking)
But of course I'm going to see more alcohol related problems than steroid related. Simple fact, 95% (maybe more) of people my age drinks alcohol, less than 1% use steroids.
I don't think at all that alcohol is more dangerous than steroids. If you want to safely use them, you better plan your cycle, prevent the side efects and also do a good PCT. If you want to safely drink, just dont drink a bottle of vodka in one sitting and of couse, don't drive after you drink
