face-pulls + not relying on a spotter and you probably won't have any serious shoulder problems

at least i didn't have any at all when i ran smolov for my bench and did it 4x/week

I don't use much leg drive. Never have. Never been any good at it. That ^ is about as much "leg drive" as I get for that number of reps.

Half the time I try to legit choke up my feet and drive into a halfway decent arch I either **** up and lift my ass off the bench or cramp a hamstring like a retard

If I take a day off from lifting my weight goes down and if I lift heavy 3 days in a row (ppl) my weight goes up. Wtf thinking about doing what capq did and not use the scale for a while.

looks to me like we're agreeing

yes, it's a compound movement, but for chest hypertrophy purposes working with db's is better, for shoulder health decline press is better and for bringing up the mostly lacking upper chest obviously incline is better

but flat benching allows to master the form to include as many muscles as possible - but nothing special for ''isolating'' chest and definitely not a necessity to build up your chest

No, you do not have to go to failure, I definitely agree there.

Not that I have accomplished jack ****, but I have made progress, especially since I got back into actually lifting last October through now. I have failed exactly 1 bench press rep that entire time...and it was a burnout/backoff set with like 170 lbs where I tried to get 20 reps but failed on the last one.

I'm already over for the day w/ fats

Ate first meal at 11am then 2nd at 8pm and now I'm not really hungry for last 450 cals. Thinking about just saving them for tomorrow. Any other brahs do that sometimes?
MFW cheeks are sunken in a bit and jawline is razor sharp. So I go to whole foods to get lunch from their bar and I catch this hnnngggg af/10 brunette chick with a phat ass eyeing me. I look at her and we just stare at each other for a few seconds. I look away and begin to put refried beans in my bowl. Unfortunately, the beans stuck on the bottom of the ladle plopped right on the counter and I looked like an idiot. What do I do? She's about to head towards the checkout lanes.

DOMS has been known to add water weight to the scale for me. If your tracking calories and training consistant there is no need to weigh yourself daily. Trust the deficit. If you were loosing weight before chances are you still will be for quite some time. Keep in mind at a lower weight you probally will have to drop cals / adjust macros. But weighing daily is pretty useless imo.

agreed man! same page here. I actually like to do my bench pressing midworkout once a week out of my 2 push days. i start with my weaker pressing (incline). My other push day starts with shoulder pressing. I dont shoulder press on my first push day, only side raises. I always make sure i include some sort of flys both push days tho to get full contraction

This is good form bro. Couldnt complain about much here. Maybe elbows closer to sides. The arch is pretty good, maybe a tad too much. just my opinion. Nice work

I personally strongly like and will not do decline. To me, it seems like the single most dangerous exercise (risk of serious injury or death) that is commonly performed. Heavy loaded metal barbell in a position where gravity would pull it straight to your throat/neck/face...strong no thanks jeff.

who cares. going over your fats wont do anything. Calories are what matters. And dont do that. Be consistant. How many grams of fat are you at a day?

MFW cheeks are sunken in a bit and jawline is razor sharp. So I go to whole foods to get lunch from their bar and I catch this hnnngggg af/10 brunette chick with a phat ass eyeing me. I look at her and we just stare at each other for a few seconds. I look away and begin to put refried beans in my bowl. Unfortunately, the beans stuck on the bottom of the ladle plopped right on the counter and I looked like an idiot. What do I do? She's about to head towards the checkout lanes.

That is one of the few exercises I would like to have 'specialized equipment' for in my garage. Someday I'll make room for and acquire a dip station/bars.

i got good gainz from it but trust it's not ''fun'' and you'll soon stop looking forward to benching that high volume that often

ran it double with smolov for squats but i got a slight injured because of my wraps (went for a heavy set after my smolov numbers just to feel the weight on my back but the wraps cut into the back of my knee/hamstring kind of badly)

Having ample carbs in diet is awesome. Going to enjoy it before they drop. Made my favorite cutting food today.

Fat free strawberry chobani Greek yogurt mixed with light cool whip spread over a crust of cinnamon roll flavored oatmeal. Frozen overnight and eaten post-workout this morning. Just made another one for tomorrow morning.

Day 1 of summer 15 diet in the books lol.

try not to look at this as a diet. I try to look at this as just eating less than what i normally do. If you mindphuck yourself and psych yourself out that your on a "diet" you will mentally become weak very fast. Once you become mentally weak, youll become physically weak. Stay strong. Just eat less, and dont be lazy. Cheers bra

If you want the shredz, maybe a bigger deficit will help you. It will for sure decrease the time dieting. But it will be more taxing on you mentally and physically. At the slow cut you plan on doing , theres no way you should even feel like your on a diet. You shouldnt have that feel unless you in a 1k+ deficit honestly. And btw ty for reps ill get ya back when im off cooldown bro!
