Hello there,
So started getting into body building and gaining more muscle mass. I am 5'8 and weight about 180LBS. My question is can i gain muscle and loose belly fat at the same time? The diet program I am currently doing calls for me to eat about 6 times a day and intake about 180-200 Grams of Protein. My concern is all about the belly fat and "Muffin ton" look that I am trying to get rid of as well. My current work out schedule is Tuesdays-Arms and legs, Wed-Shoulders and Abs, Thursdays-Chest and back, Saturday Cardio. Any tips? I would like to get rid of the "Muffin top" and belly fat and hopefully develop a six pack ...
Thanks!

There's no such thing as spot reducing fat. To get rid of the belly fat you're going to have to make sure you are at a caloric deficit and to maintain any muscle you need to make sure you hit your macro's correctly. Stickies and online calcs can help you find out what you BMR (Basic Metabolic Rate) and your TDEE (Total daily energy expenditure) and this will help you determine what you need to maintain your weight, and then you can find out how much less you need to take in to lose bf. There's also calculators to help you find your macros. Or you can find out from the stickys on the top of the fourmn.
