I'm not saying using the smith machine is useless, because it's not depending on the exercise, but why must you waste 2 perfectly good clips when I could be using them for my squats or deadlifts?!?

People seriously use clips on the smith machine at my gym. And it's not just 1 person, it's multiple people.

this has already been said but when someone interrupts my set to ask me how many more sets i have or when someone sets on a bench/machine and doing nothing but texting or cruising their newsfeed it makes me want to crush some skulls!

The other day when I was at the gym I was doing some curls on one of those adjustable fly machines, just to switch it up. This guy came over and was standing watching me, but I did another set or two. Then when I went to move the pin he grabbed the handles from me and started to chew me out saying that 'he was on the machine and was just getting a drink of water." At this point in time, I started laughing, and he goes "you need to wipe that smug expression off of your face" so I just laughed some more and walked away, it wasn't worth it.

Best part of it is, this guy is always at the gym for 2+ hours, and spends 90% of his time talking to 40 year old women

one horror is towels and loads of sweat...dumbbells some bumpers, the bar. im like alright, but then you get the dumbbell, ungrip it and its loaded with what seems like bacon grease then you rub your index with your thumb...full of grease for the whole day. at least wash your hands after breakfast to minimize this fitness gear and grease epidemic.

Ewww... Yeah I know tha feels this girl at my gym is always miring. Especially doing delt work or tricep kickbacks and them shoulders start shredding up. Can't stand girls watching me it's so yucky.

Full olympic set, 500# of weights/bar/tree, kettlebells, arm blaster, wrist roller, these dumbbell handles that accept any standard 2" oly plate so I effectively have any weight db I want.
